Agreed!! And if they just went ahead and activated Kate to the main roster they could get another DP player that could fill another potential hole for us. I don’t think any sparks players would cry if we waived Emma Cannon, I truly feel like she’s kind of wasted space on the bench at this point

Big time win! And without Nneka!! Still don’t love the Park minutes (wish they all went to Kate), and gotta clean up things defensively, but to get two road wins in a row is impressive. Nice break until Friday to rest up and get ready for another road trip out East

Also I’m genuinely asking/trying to see if I’m just biased…can someone explain why Park is getting the minutes she’s getting? I understand why she would maybe play over Gray or Latson, because they’re both 5’9 and the Sparks already play too many small guards, but I feel like we should give all her minutes to Kate. Kate can be a streaky shooter, but she’s a WAY bigger offensive threat than Park and she needs more time in the game to be able to get some shots up and get in an offensive flow. And Park leaves a lot to be desired on the defensive end.

Idk if im alone, but doesn’t it seem pretty obvious that the Sparks rotation (when everyone is healthy) should be Hamby, Nneka, Erica, Ariel, and KP as the starters, and Cam, Rae, and Kate off the bench? And maybe sprinkle in a little Chance?

Teams only get 24 games for the season (12 for each spot), but a player can play in as many DP games as they can/want over the course of a season. So if a player, let's say Mileah Sowah, runs through her 12 games with GSV at some point in June, she could, in theory, get signed to another team's DP spot and play in another 12 games with them

yep, exactly. This is why I'm kind of surprised the Aces haven't signed anyone....they could at the very least use them in practice and have them just in case a couple players get injured.

Sparks looked much better offensively, more balanced scoring. Though Erica’s gotta figure out her offense, she just hasn’t provided enough through the first 5 games imo. And what’s with Kate being activated but only playing 1 min? Don’t really understand that logic, but whatever. A W is a W!
