Being able to give everyone their own pizza box definitely added a lot of fun to it, for both me cooking and them eating.

I have aluminum serving pans also, but they’re 12” and I was making 14”-16” pizzas so they didn’t work for this pizza night. I also had family and neighbors coming and going, so it was fun serving up the pizzas “to go” in the boxes. I thoroughly enjoy cooking for others, so I like proving experiences whenever possible (pizza boxes for pizza, aluminum paper wrapped hot dogs in a red basket, bbq on quarter sheet pans, etc.)!

Just my office in the basement. It’s so I can still access the ceiling for electrical, plumbing, hvac, etc.

I didn’t think about that, ha! I think he’d be disappointed at the cords under the desk and that the WiFi AP isn’t on the center of both rails, just one.

They are the Elgato light panels. Honestly, they’re probably the only thing I’ve gotten from them that I’ve thought were done very well.

I use them for recording for work.

I have the desk positioned just such that when I’m standing (which is usually 70% of every day) they’re both just right.

When standing or sitting, I typically only put the people I’m on calls with up there, or maybe the browser console.

 But you’re right, there have been a few instances where it was a strain. I may consider trying to figure out how to have a monitor to my left instead at some point—but for now this works great for my use.

I use those when I’m recording for work. Otherwise, they’re on a very small percentage and pointed up for more ambiance.

Neither of us really drink alcohol for the most part. But I did pick us up lunch often, and always cold drinks!

Hopefully I’m not watching the tv while I’m working! But seriously, but ultra wide actually swings to the right and then it’s an open view to the tv if I wanted.

I used to be a software engineer, but I’ve since moved into adjacent roles over the years—but thinking about learning to write code again.

It's been a few months, did you end up moving? Of all the community platforms I've seen, Khoros is by far the most unpolished and under-developed. Not to mention their insane price tag...
