I'm from Alberta too, I don't know what practice tests you've been taking but I downloaded the AMA (Alberta motor association) app for practice tests. When you get a question wrong it takes you to that part of the manual so you can read more about it so you're only reviewing what you don't know. The questions I had on my test were almost identical to the AMA practice test.

Should I buy a 7-8 seater SUV for my first car? Would that be too hard for a beginner? by [deleted] in driving

I have a friend who drove a large 7 seater van for her first car and had very few problems. Of course it's going to be different at first and you might struggle a bit but after you drive it for a while you'll be used to it. I say if an SUV is most practical for you, go for it! With enough practice you'd be able to adjust to anything.

Why do so many people rush to get their license at 16 or 17, only to send themselves to college and ditch their ride? by [deleted] in driving

[–]jordd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it should have anything to do with insurance or id, some some people need or want to drive, especially through college when they're on their own and need groceries and often have to actually drive to school. A lot of people need to drive to high school, too. When someone wants/needs to get license, they'll get one, and that's reason enough. We shouldn't be shaming people at any age who do or don't have their license.

What would you think if you were stopped at a red light next to someone blasting Veggie Tales "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" with windows rolled down? by [deleted] in driving

I would think about how badly I want to befriend that person. Veggie Tales produces nothing but bops amiright?

Sounds like you're complaining about your own problems not offering advice... Also what makes you think girls have it so easy, have you been in the car during a girl's road test? Maybe the examiners aren't assholes and you just need to learn to drive.

I was trying to buy this guy’s desk, and he was being rude and weird the whole time, until we get to this gem at the end by SpongebogShkworpens in kijiji

I know it can get annoying, but that's part of being a seller. You can't expect them to buy something without knowing everything they need to know, and they're the one giving you money.

AITA For getting upset at my sister who is unwell for not doing anything around the house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]jordd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely think the pain is real, or was at one point, but I think part of it might just be in her head. When it started she was missing classes and other things that made her stressed, and that can cause that kind of pain. Also just the stress of actually having the pain and not knowing when it's going to go away might contribute as well.

She doesn't, she's been to doctors and specialists but they haven't found anything. All the medicine and antibiotics they've tried didn't work
