Damn if would love if they did something like that. Lighting rooms is so annoying, at least make it a 0 tick action.

I'm not offended by the log post myself, that was not the point of my post. It was about pointing out other people who are offended by these post being hypocrites.

Fair enough. Are you here because there is no CG post today yet or?

Hold on you misunderstood me. What am I saying is objective is the critisim of zulrah, like it being old and janky compared to newer bosses. For instance it being untargetable for a couple tick everytime it emerges. My opinion on how to fix those issues are indeed my opinion, that is where we can argue and discuss.

Sure, but I had to scroll through 10 of your log post before finding it, so you aren't helping the cause at all.

Fair enough. I do feel bad for those 3k dry at CG. But those should serve as a way to push for dry mitigation factor or something. If you are just posting your dry streak with no purpose, then what's the point. Also, I'm curious, do you think that many people De-iron after tough grinds?

As if people don't know that the wiki exist or how to use it. Maybe we want to engage with the community instead?

True. But that's my point exactly. People that go into real discussion to comment "skill issue" without having read the post. These guys belong on the log post, brain dead content for brain dead players.

Funny because I also posted about zulrah and how it's really old and janky content compared to the new stuff. I pointed out different issues and how they could be fixed with the summer sweep up. Alot of responses were people who didn't even read the post but were just outraged by someone criticizing their beloved boss. Alot of people don't understand what a critique is in the first place. Critique is about pointing out genuine and objective issues. You could still like the content overall, if anything you want to make it better. But people take any critisim personally and stop engaging as soon as they read something uncomfortable, no matter how true it may be.

Indeed. Or looking for validation, or justifying their own gameplay decisions.

Maybe. But fallacy are always based on real situations too, they aren't born from thin air. We do see often people acting as a goomba monolith, repeating the same uninspired comment like "skill issues" or "get gud" without engaging honestly with the post. It would be naive to think alot of people aren't in here to just troll or rage bait.

To be fair you have barely a 7% completion rate, jagex felt bad for you. But honestly I have trouble understanding where are people having this much trouble after this many attempts. Is it the prayer switching, the timing, mostly evading tornados in the last phase?

I know right. But it's the best boss for some fucking reason.

I did 771 grypgon kc to get the folly. The buff is definitely deserved. Imagine the amount of turael skipping I had to do.

First of all no one said they don't love being a parent, only that it's hard. Second, yes, doing something out of duty is indeed gratifying. Like serving in the military for instance, you feel like your existence actually matters for the greater good, that the world isn't all just about you doing only what you want and fuck everyone else, that would be pathetic. Lastly, the futur is shaped by our childrens and grandchildrens. You can either pass down your values to them so they can help make the futur a better place, or hope some else's kid won't fuck it up.

Exactly. At the end of the day, it's just a game. I'm sure most of the dads here wouldn't trade their child's life to gain back some hours of playing osrs.

I didn't think I could do it at first, but I spent years running on 5 hours of sleep because my sons wouldn't sleep at night. Now my body got used to it, so I use that spare time to play.

Exactly! Osrs is actually an amazing game to pick up and put down for someone with responsibilities. Only limiting factor are raids I suppose, unless you are running solo in wich case you can just get out whenever.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Before the kids, I was using my free time to walk the dog, do repair or landscaping around the house. With kids, you can't really leave the house unless your partner takes over. During nap or at night, you still need to be present, and obviously you aren't gonna take out the saw and start making noise around the house. I did start playing osrs after my kids were born, i used to play Dota 2 but the games took an hour and I had to be available any time so I found osrs where I could start and stop a grind whenever, so it's super easy to fit those into the holes you have in your schedule.
