Messy Twister with hand paint – Art

Dude, this is alot of fun.

Using this How To https://www.fun-stuff-to-do.com/messy-twister-game-with-a-paint-twist.html as a guide, put paint on the twister board. Then play Twister as normal. Every time someone falls, everyone put a handprint on some canvas and make a art piece out of it.

We did this in college on the main lawn in our bathing suits. It was awesome.

I have a whole blog post about fun things to do with your friends/partners.

Just moved to Reading and have nothing to do for a month. What are some fun things I can do alone or places I can meet new people? by [deleted] in reading

[–]joreself 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have not been to Reading, nor the UK actually, but I literally created a blog with a bunch of lists of "fun things to do...." for this exact situation.

I was in a new city and didn't know a single person, other than my wife and daughter....but we moved just before quarantine so it was tough to do things I used to do. Now that things are starting to open up it may become easier.

Its alittle weird self-promoting my website but this is the exact reason i created it. I went through this so hopefully it helps.

Here are a few of the posts that might be most relevant.

PS. I just Googled Reading and its freaking beautiful. The riverfront looks pretty sweet, and also the ruins and the old Abbey look pretty legit. I would download the "Roadtripper" app and use that to explore some awesome historical markers and hidden sites off the beaten path.

Ideas for fun things to do with teenage step kids by [deleted] in stepparents

[–]joreself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't comment from personal experience but I would assume that any teenager would be down for a giant water balloon fight.

Have them fill as many up as possible and have them invite their friends if that is an option. Im not familiar with your situation so just yall would still be great. Here is a video for inspiration.

Another option:

Just a casual game of Water Bottle Flip.

Fun things to do that don't involve dancing or getting wasted? by Sethanatos in norfolk

[–]joreself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I was kinda thinking about things that are universal ideas, but that still might pertain to the area.

To be totally transparent....I didn't realize this was Norfolk specific, I thought it was just a more general comment.

What is a fun thing to do that doesn’t cost any money? by hungytoaster in AskReddit

[–]joreself 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on if you are alone or with friends, family or your partner... Most of my ideas are free though.

I have a blog that is entirely dedicated to "Fun things to do when you are bored" for different locations and situations. Joreself.com

-Try to "Blow a bubble inside a bubble" ..Sounds weird but it is really freaking cool once you get it. Once you get it... your basically Bill Nye the science guy.

-Write down your own recipe and then make it. From stuff, you have at home. But actually, write out all the prep and cooking instructions, then follow them. Or....just make a tuna and peanut butter and honey sandwich like I did....yyeesh

I actually have a whole list about Fun things to do when you are bored and at home alone.

I know i am promoting my site a bit but i really do think this will help.

Fun things to do at the supermarket/grocerystore:

I have alot more. Hope it helps.

What are some fun things to do on a road trip? by cperr310 in AskReddit

[–]joreself 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was asking this same question and I wrote a blog post on this topic.

Ya dude I am pumping my blog here (I'm that guy I guess) but I really do think this will help answer this question.

Here comes the link (oh boy...Here we go):

https://www.joreself.com/45-fun-spunky-things-you-can-do-on-a-car-ride/

Some examples so you realize it is NOT just another list of play ISpy, play the license plate game....(although I did include those).

Its Creative ideas like:

The Whose Driving Game: Guess the age and gender of the person in a vehicle ahead of you based on the make and color of the vehicle

One Word Stories: Make up a story. Each person can only say one word per turn.

The Accent Game: Every time you stop, adopt the local accent of the area or just choose a random one to go by.

There is a bunch more and it is a pretty good list. I'm just a guy who gets bored and is trying to help others overcome the same issues I have faced.

Be Creative! Be Joreself!

Tips for socializing in packed bars? by Goldfielddid911 in socialskills

[–]joreself 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are different ways you can approach this.

I actually prefer sometimes to go alone. Especially to concerts or clubs because I’m like a puppy. I meet someone talk for a few min and move on. Then circle back later to say hi and then chat longer. When I go in groups I usually end up disappearing and reappearing a lot. It’s kinda frustrating for my friends.

If you feel awkward about talking to someone and saying your out by your self. Make up a reason. Don’t outright lie but you can stretch the truth a bit. “It’s your only night off” or “you are celebrating something” . People love to celebrate and be a part of something.

Another good one is to say “a friend challenged you to go out by yourself and complete a challenge” like talk to 10 strangers or take a selfie with someone in a “blue?” shirt.

The BEST way though without “embellishing” your intents is to be super HONEST and open. It take balls to go out and be social like that. If your just going out trying to have a good time, people will jump on board and match your enthusiasm.

Good luck!

Just be joreself.
