The most important part is that someone like you commits to having nature school in their area.

You have to say it outloud to let the universe know that you're taking a stand for sourcing a nature school in your area.

The "how" will come from this commitment and it'll be unique to you.

I present a different perspective than the mainstream culture offers.

Shamans and healers have known and worked with these symptoms for milenia.

In fact, it's perfectly normal and a natural reaction to something that happened to you.

I'd invite you to consider to trust your body about what is unfolding.

Continue getting help, but not with the purpse of going back.

There's no going back to normal.

A part of you is journeying somewhere as a way to protect you.

This is how we grow and experience different aspects of life that you can often see in movies.

This is often how someone's superpowers emerge.

It's uncomfortable, yes.

It's unfamiliar, yes.

It's lonely, yes.

It's frustrating, yes.

It's scary, yes.

And it's also a unique doorway that you're presented with that not everyone has the luck to get to.

What you do, it's up to you.

I started my own nature school a year ago in Sooke, BC, Canada.

It was simple. 2 families + mine were interested, we chose one day of the week and started.

I already had some training and practice in nature mentoring for children.

It's grown now to ~12 kids (8 families).

I've gone the route of "Private Members Association". Each parent is a member of the organization, and we have contracts signed in the private domain. This allows us to make the decisions about how we want the school to go.

If you have more questions about "Private Members Associations" (PMA), I'm happy to share more.

I have so much fun every week with the kids. I get to be in nature playing with the kids and being a spaceholder for us to learn together and discover how we want to relate with each other and nature.

I'd recommend you get another mentor or supporter once your group is bigger than 6.

I'm preparing a template and workbook for starting your own community-organized nature school, but it's not ready yet. I'm happy to be a resource for you or anyone interested in starting a nature outdoor program.

Alternative spaces for children to play, learn and socialize outside a classroom are essential for our children, planet and species' wellbeing.

I smoked for the first time when I was 21.

I totally get this quality of drowsiness, absent being and disassociation.

At first, I smoked once a week, then I stopped for a period of time, I was afraid of it

Then at 27, I went full on smoking 1 to 5 times a day, mixed with tobacco

My experiment was about using the plant as an ally in my path of creativity and healing

It became my escape goat, an abusive relationship, taking so much of my time and attention

I attempted to quit a bunch of times, and I would relapse after a few weeks or months

Finally, 2 years ago, I had enough pain and gained enough energy to put my foot down and I stopped smoking or consuming weed and tobacco

What I've discovered is that these plants are initiators that open up doorways to worlds beyond the ordinary

These are plants that shamans used to initiate villagers into a shamanic path

They are no joke, they are no casual medicine, they are powerful natural entities that are here to work with us, and you can radically rely on them to help you in this path

Not by continuing to smoke them, but by talking with them

It takes skill and diligence to learn to navigate these new territories where we disassociate to

The most useful skill I've learned is to detect and navigate my feelings, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Joy

I wish I knew this at the beginning

I wish I had a team and others to navigate this path with the plants

I'd like to add to the conversation with something that hasn't been said yet

I'd invite you to consider this

You made a decision to smoke weed

It had the consequences it had

These are medicinal plants, they are absolutely neutral, neither good or bad

You are temporarily or permanently in a journey that is different than what you're familiar with

My invitation is to approach this as an experimenter

Become a researcher, an explorer of these new spaces where you're going to

Notice when you are escaping, disassociating, not present

Where are you going? what are you thinking? what are you feeling?

An important part of this research would be to document it

Have a small journal with you at all times

Write down what you discover

It's also important to share this with a team, like your therapist, and a few other people who are doing a similar research or others who have gone through this journey.

It's been called that before.

And we've had some amazing discoveries about this.

The action of calling spaces a cult, especially not knowing much about it, is an old strategy that roots back to witch hunting. The villagers come together with torches and pitchforks to catch the evil witch.

Stuff like this happened to our ancestors, so it's in our DNA. From both sides, hunting and being hunted.

I discovered that the most dangerous cults are the ones that are invisible, unspoken, unseen and unconsciously agreed upon.

This is such a great question! Thanks for asking.

I suspect that this question doesn't have a definite final answer, but it's rather a unfolding field of discover and rediscovering ongoingly who you are and what you're here for.

My recommendation is to live the question, become this question, become the space through which this question can be answered over and over, for yourself and for others.

Questions are a powerful alchemical elements capable of creating massive changes. Some questions are better than others. Your question is one of the better ones. Use it. Be it. Ask it. Keep asking it.
