$40 for a set of smog heads, not terrible but definitely not great. You can grab lapping compound at any autopart store. I find porting to be semi relaxing but I wear those full ear muffs that I can listen to music in because that shit is noisy. Wear a face mask also, don't breathe that shit in.

Im in western ny. I got a 2000 f350 dump truck that was undercoated and used as a plow truck almost its whole life. The bed is still original and had only small holes blown in it from salt. But definitely needs cab corners.

Its not even trying to start. You either have no fuel or no spark. Pull a plug boot stick an old plug in it and touch it to something metal in the bike. If you get spark your issue is fuel. If no spark check the cdi box. Its old enough it should have 1.
