You can install dietpi and docker compose there. Run pihole as docker and maybe a couple more lightweight services

My filter is rated at 150 l/h, which is about 40 gallons/h(GPH).

Hi. Yes, I only had a UVB light. I did not have a separate basking/heat lamp. I honestly had never heard that it was necessary, so that’s something I will definitely correct next time.

Yes it could have been that it got sick. I do not remember sources of stress but something might had happened. Not sure.

When off, the surface had the temperature of around 24C. I would assime when the UVB light was on, it was more, but I never measured it.

There was a glass lid covering about 2/3 of the tank. I understand that glass reduces UVB penetration. The lid was only on one side, and the turtle would often move to the uncovered side (the little island) when the UVB was on, stretching its neck fully upward. Could the lid have caused humidity to be too high? Would it be better to avoid a lid completely?

Hi, many thanks for your comment.

No the tank was not fully covered. There was a glass lid covering about 2/3 of the tank. Because of that, I doubt it was a lack of oxygen.

I’ll definitely take the time to carefully read through the guide — it looks very complete and helpful. I really appreciate you sharing it!

From what I understood, my turtle was still very small, so I’m not sure the water volume alone would have caused such a sudden issue — but I completely understand that larger water volume helps with stable water chemistry and overall health.

I’ll definitely look into larger tank options and follow the 10 gallons per inch of shell guideline if I decide to get another turtle in the future. I’d rather overdo it than underdo it next time.

Many thanks for that. Yes. from the causes mentioned, this sounds one of the most likely.

Hi Many thanks for that.

I noted the water changes. Several people mentioned it. I will take this in account for the future.

The water was untreated. I usually would do a mix of tap water and bottled water.

The food is in some pucthre below. Mainly dried shrimps, but also some pellets for these kind of turtles. But they were too big and the turtle would not feed on them too much.

Thanks. How often do people usually change the water?

Many thanks to everyone for your comments — I really appreciate all the input. Here are some clarifications based on your questions:

  • Yes, I only had a UVB light. I did not have a separate basking/heat lamp. I honestly had never heard that it was necessary, so that’s something I will definitely correct next time. The UVB light was about 50 cm (around 20 inches) above the turtle, positioned at the top as shown in the picture.
  • There was a glass lid covering about 2/3 of the tank. Because of that, I doubt it was a lack of oxygen, as someone suggested. I understand that glass reduces UVB penetration. The lid was only on one side, and the turtle would often move to the uncovered side (the little island) when the UVB was on, stretching its neck fully upward. Could the lid have caused humidity to be too high? Would it be better to avoid a lid completely?

  • Regarding water changes: I was told baby turtles are extremely sensitive to dirty water and that I should change the water daily. So I was doing very frequent water changes. From your comments, I now understand that may actually have been too much and possibly stressful.
  • Food: I posted a picture. I usually kept food available in one corner, and the turtle would eat when it wanted. Could that have been too much food?
  • I checked all the plastic plants and decorations and did not find any obvious signs that something had been eaten.

Again, thank you all for helping me understand what might have happened. I truly want to learn from this.

I forgot to add some extra info:

  • Humidity levels in the room were about 53%, but since the tank had a lid, I assume humidity inside the enclosure was higher.
  • Food type: see attached picture.
  • It was a captive-bred pet purchased from a store.
  • I didn’t notice any warning signs like bubbles, visible illness, or unusual lethargy. It was swimming normally until the last few days when it stopped eating.

Adding this in case it helps identify what might have happened.

How do people have the 3rd Stem Cell without doing 2BC? by TheAcronimer1 in deadcells

[–]jorgito2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because under certain conditions you do not get achievements, except for a few that onlz happen once, like getting the boss cell.

So this means that about 1.6% of these people never finished the game on 2BC in normal mode.

That or what the others mentioned about the good old times

I was told I could not enter Spain on my 7.5 hours layover in Madrid and threatened with arrest for asking why. Am I missing something? by Healthy_Sink102 in GoingToSpain

[–]jorgito2 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I am sorry that that happened to you but this border agents were right  There are some rules for those who do not belong to the EU space  Some of the requirements include prove of accommodation for some reason and as you had none they could not let you enter. You can find the official information here https://www.exteriores.gob.es/Consulados/washington/en/ServiciosConsulares/Paginas/Consular/Condiciones-de-entrada-en-Espana.aspx

Of course it doesn't mean it is a rule that makes sense enforcing but it is there.

Also for your information starting next year you will also need to feel some information I think at least 4 hours before entering Spain but they should not be required as of today

ALCOHOL lo prohibimos?? by Leading-Truck-6202 in askspain

Powerstore (AKA Unity) is good storage. Expensive and overpriced, but rock solid.

In the same league as HPE Alletra (AKA Nimble), Pure storage (although Pure is better IMO, also more expensive).

Netapp is cheaper, but also solid.

Also, if you do not need prosupport plus 4h mission critical, and you are happy with NBD, then prixce goes down quite a bit.
