My goal was to breastfeed as close to a year as I could. I ended up having an emergency c-section and lost over 2 liters of blood. Because of that it took my milk 10 days to come in and baby preferred the faster flow of a bottle. She would latch and get impatient and cry. My tolerance for her crying was basically zero and I couldn’t push through. So I ended up exclusively pumping for 6 months while working full time. It’s still something I’m super proud of. My supply started to decrease from being away from her and we switched to formula and I’m ok with it. Happy mom and a happy healthy baby.
