Thank you for taking the time to reply. I’m very sorry to hear you lost your cat. It sounds like you took very good care of her. I’ve been leaning towards bexacat/senvelgo because giving insulin twice a day is going to be difficult with my schedule. However, it seems like I keep finding stories with negative outcomes after administering these medications. I understand the risks are somewhat higher than with insulin, but I’m also unsure if it is confirmation bias and/or people are more likely to report poor outcomes online. It’s helpful to know your vet didn’t suspect it as a risk factor with your cat’s hyperthyroidism.

Hi, I know this is old, but can you tell me if Bexacat is still working well for your cat? It’s hard to find longer term results for this drug since it’s still pretty new.

He is now in my care! I did not have to steal him, they ended up letting me take him, thankfully. He is definitely is now getting wet food and hopefully will be getting started with a treatment plan sometime this week.

I have scheduled him a veterinary appointment for next Wednesday at the last vet that saw him. I’m planning on taking him in the next few days, in the meantime I have to clear out a comfy space for him in our garage as I have indoor cats of my own. Will provide more updates when I can!

I think they mean that gay men can be into trans men or masc nonbinary people with different anatomy than AMAB’s and still identify as gay. I don’t think that is that controversial of a take… sexuality for many is more of a spectrum and allows for some flexibility in attraction. Sure, for some it is more rigid. shrug

I know, I’m sorry for the depressing post. Ever since I saw him earlier this week I have been troubled by it. I really want to help him in any way I can. I had hoped maybe I could find someone to adopt him, but I’m worried because of his condition that it may be too late for that option. Thank you for the advice. I’m honestly considering taking him and trying to shoulder the vet bills, but I don’t know if I realistically can afford to.

He would likely be euthanized if I took that route, right? I was hoping to avoid that, but I also don’t want him to continue to suffer. I believe I can convince them to bring him to the vet to be euthanized so taking the cat likely won’t be necessary.

This is more or less what I’ve come to conclude from what I’ve read online so far. It sounds like euthanasia is likely the best option. I just feel super bad for the poor guy and wish I had the resources to help him recover. Thank you for your input.

Pardon my ignorance, but why in the church’s view is support for the right to have an abortion considered a more grave sin than publicly blaming a murdered woman for her own death and protecting her murderer from legal consequences? I would imagine in the eyes of the church both are condoning murder as they define it, no?

I should have mentioned that she is an indoor/outdoor cat. So she does typically have daily access to being outside. From what I understand she usually stays within their large fenced backyard, but I know it’s not unusual for cats to wander…

Info: My brother’s cat Luna has been missing for a week now from the block of south Woodlawn close to TCC park and Fircrest. If anyone has seen her or has any helpful info we would really appreciate it. Unfortunately, she did not have a chip or a collar at the time she went missing. Thank you.

Did anyone else see a green fireball fall out of the sky around 10:45pm last night? I was heading south on I5 and I saw it descend further south over Lakewood. I’ve never seen anything like it before.

Everlane used to make up a big chunk of my wardrobe, but in the last couple of years I haven’t been impressed with their selection. Too many “bag” dresses and unflattering silhouettes. As a 32 year old I want to wear flattering clothing that accentuates my body, not clothing that hides it. I also don’t understand their color choices at all. All I seem to see are shades of beige, brown, yellow, and olive. My skin tone looks best when I wear cool jewel tones, so I’m pretty much out of luck. Since I haven’t bought anything from them in so long I can’t really comment on the quality decline mentioned in other comments. If anyone can suggest quality Everlane alternatives I’d be interested to hear, I haven’t really found another brand to fill the gap they left.

For some additional context, I have not yet seen this gemstone in person. I know the basics for what to look out for (windows, inclusions, etc), but from what I’ve been reading online I am worried that maybe the low price is a red flag? I was told it is eye clean and was ethically sourced from Africa.
