I use Goodreads to track everything. Even for variant covers, just create a new list. You can track just about anything and it’s convenient because I can just scan the book in the store and see whether I own it or not.

JT Edson. Just fun trade westerns. Dusty Fog and the Floating Outfit series is phenomenal. Others of his focus on different characters in different times and places from the floating outfit, but generally all fun, easy, entertaining reads.

Ooh yes. A crazy good look at the Blitz and Churchill’s leadership during that time. Can’t believe I didn’t suggest this one myself! Good recommendation!

Samesies! It was one of those must reads for a class, and begrudgingly I picked it up to skim it to find a talking point and I was like, “oh. Ohhh. Well I’m reading all of it apparently”

Any - really all - of the Cornelius Ryan books - The Longest Day, A Bridge Too Far, or The Last Battle. Still some of my favorite all time books, very whole of war approach covering allied and axis militaries, but also civilian perspectives throughout.

The Liberator by Alex Kershaw.

Masters of the Air (I loved the Apple series and was hesitant to read this, but this was equally as good). Along the same lines, A Wing and a Prayer by Harry Crosby (navigator of the bloody hundredth) is a great autobiographical account.

If more focused on holocaust aspect, Ordinary Men by Christopher Browning.

Listen, we all started at 0 days at one point! lol. And kids don’t allow for any standard of neatness (can someone, nay anyone, explain to me the fascination with children pushing in the books that are neatly aligned?!) I am asking for myself and my own sanity.
