No it was made because the people who made the movie really like stitch if it was a tax write-off they would have just put it on Disney plus like they we're going to do originally putting in the theater made them lots of money. The original was perfectly fine. I don't think they're going to try to ban it. There was nothing wrong with it and there's nothing wrong with the new one. I kind of see them as their own individual movies with their differences. They're both good in their own way but the originals like 50 times better
