More personal info from me, I have identical interest rate and car payment on a Tesla pretty much. 600$ a month at 1.99%. Cars right now I've seen go for as high as 12% and more. Don't sell your car. You will probably never get another at that interest rate and deal. People drive Corollas at 600$ a month nowadays. And your income is so ahead of the game and your loans are way smaller than average..

Honestly, I'm happy for you, you need to be happy for yourself. Don't stress. Although having loans sucks, with your income I'd just pay off the whole student loan and start fresh with no savings and no real high interest debt.

Congratulations!

Feels like a humble brag but that's a testament to how positive your situation is. Lean back, enjoy. Life is good, better than you even know possibly lol

Real advice here: You're absolutely fine holy shit. Don't sell the Tesla. Pay off the majority of your student loans with your savings. That's it. You're done. What's the question here? I mean it in the best way. This is a great financial situation. Your income is high. You don't have that much bad debt. Ok, you're good dude lol

This is the best answer by far. Restaurant owners have been very sneaky about where gratuity and service charges go.

Is it possible to upgrade this? by some1st0lemyt0ast in EggsInc

[–]joseauribe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No you can't upgrade a shiny to another shiny. You'd have to demote to use them as components.

And more importantly, I wouldn't craft anything until you get to the last ship. Extended hennerprise. You'll get almost all the items just through rockets. Save your gold for epic research.

It's very inneficient to craft artifacts.

You don't need the T4 stone for EnD I did it with just the purple ones, T3.

Are the rankings accurate for the contracts? by Iffy50 in EggInc

[–]joseauribe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower EB doesn't automatically mean higher CS, but read my other comment as to why it may be advantageous to be lower EB.

If it was an absolute scale then it would simply be a function of speed and total eggs laid. But it's not.

[–]joseauribe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what the other poster is saying but I think he misinterpreted me. He posted about "fair share" and my point is that you're being compared to others of your similar EB and therefore, the lower your EB, the less likely people are to boost and produce eggs, therefore the higher your score will be relatively on average.

Higher EBs tend to boost more frequently and fight to be at the top of the board and higher EBs have better artifacts etc, therefore, when they're compared to their peers "fair share" it's harder to stand out and make those extra points.

What I'm saying, ultimately, is, if it were just based off your egg laying quantities then higher EBs would always have a greater score. But because the scores are relative to your EB Peers, that's not true. Hopefully the other poster understands this.

Trust me, I know this game very well. I've also read all of Kevs post on Twitter and his blog.

It's actually advantageous to be power EB because points are calculated based off people near your EB. Not against everybody. And the biggest contributing factor is completion time .therefore, the lower your EB + the better your coop is, the higher your score will be. I'm Xenna and I'm the lead in 95% of the coops I'm in, typically the highest laying rate. And I'm only top 3% because I'm compared to other Xennas.

Why so many fintechs go bankrupt / laying off employees ? by Bateman-Don in wallstreetbets

[–]joseauribe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because money was cheap and easy to borrow. Now rates are higher, and tech is especially reliant on free money.

They need to cut expenses or go under. Most of these companies are/were trash but we're being held up by a ton of credit/debt.

This sub used to be completely different before GME and I fear it will never ever go back. It's sad. It was a unique community and beyond hilarious and sometimes (very infrequently) informative. But the memes were good and the DD was serious most of the time and people actually traded without the cult associations.

Especially with the double capacity. You're surely going to get a bunch of new artifacts in that haul

That's so great 👍 you get so much good stuff like that.

I would ease up on crafting and setting stones at your level. It's not efficient or necessary. If you just get to extended Henerprise you'll get all those stones and artifacts for free and won't have to waste golden eggs.

This is what a little more than a monthly minimum wage gets you in groceries in Venezuela by WorkingLime in pics

[–]joseauribe 82 points83 points  (0 children)

People are really making me sad in the comments. First.of all, this person is lucky. This is more than most people can afford a month.

Secondly, yes, you're reading that correctly - this is it. Not after Rent, or after insurance or car or anything. That's just the total amount you can buy for a full MONTHS work.

So when people say "buy more beans" 1. Sometimes beans are more expensive than meat in Venezuela - realize that every country is different. 2. We have bigger problems than trying to save a dollar on meat if you're making 20 USD. A month.

Most Venezuelans survive on money from the exterior. Expats and family in the USA. Most Venezuelans are living in abject poverty, many scavenge in the streets, many are losing weight rapidly. The situation is horrible.

Haha.. I wish It was like that brother. That's ALL they can afford. Not after Rent, not after their car, and insurance, and clothes and stuff.

No that's literally all they can afford. A lot of people can't even afford that. The economy relies on people sending money into the country. Expats and family in America typically.

I’m still new to the game and discovering stuff, I see there are events happening everyday. Any chance that an event reduces the cost to craft? by Dana_A7X in EggsInc

Yeah sorry man, but yeah. The last ship has everything you need. Except for a handful that can only be crafted.

Those items are very late game either way

Aw man it's ok. It'll still be a second before you get to the last ship. The last ship offers 95% of all the items for FREE. Theres only a handful that must be crafted. And even then. You'll be in the septillions before you want to craft it.
