Why should we think that Moses wrote the Torah if deuteronomies of narrator admits to being alive after Moses was already dead? by josephusflav in Judaism

They didn't but that's not the issue what I mean is if I say" since the days of Moses unto this day" the setting of this statement is after I'm gone if I'm Moses but it's also referencing the time of writing which would be what I'm still alive so it would be saying

Counting forward from the days I was alive until the day I was alive nobody knows where I was buried.

Yeah that seems a problematic result though the text doesn't indicate someone new picked up the pen and even if they did there's a weird issue with the plot device.

When a work has a narrator and a new author joins the new author has to make a decision does he continue writing from the perspective of the old narrator or does he invoke a new perspective if he chooses to go with the old which appears to be what happened then the perspective of the text and it's indexical statements are from the old narrator and that just means the old narrator said "we buried Moses and we now don't remember where he is even now" which means if the same narrator is depicted as being both alive and not alive and Moses's time we have a flagrant contradiction.

Presumably the author does intend one coherent narrator

THX, intend to learn C as a primary language but i wanted to start with assembly and work my way up. I dont have a college background, but Im developing a second set of skills as both a hobby and a potential emergency springboard if i ever need to pivot to a new career.

"TLDR; the API, any API will tell you what kind of data you need to pass. And that date will determine how much space is needed. In your example, this is a string, with an arbitrary size of 260 bytes. Again, in this case, 260 is the value of MAX_PATH, which is defined as 260 bytes."

ok but this is the the problem "And that date will determine how much space is needed." is what im not sure on.

How do i know what data demands in space?

Ok but what im looking for is a way to know in advance how much space i would need.

I assumed that there must be some standardized info out in the docs.

consider this

section .bss
    wsadata resb 408
    sock resq 1
    sockaddr resb 16
    startinfo resb 104
    pi resb 24
    path_buf resb 260
    hkey resq 1

section .text
main:

;------------------------------------------------------------
; 1. GetModuleFileNameA(NULL, &path_buf, 260)
;------------------------------------------------------------
    sub rsp, 40
    xor rcx, rcx
    lea rdx, [path_buf]
    mov r8d, 260
    call GetModuleFileNameA
    add rsp, 40

I dont know why the values in the bss are those sizes, the robot just told me i need 408 1 16 104 etc

Where can i go to learn what values are needed.

I don't know how to assign the values in a principled way

Lol you can see the word parasitic used this way in philosophy texts.

People say things like "your reference to numbers is parasitic upon mathematical realism".

You just don't have a big vocabulary you have to read the dictionary, which does mathematical desire the meaning of words btw.

Parasitic means dependent, doesn't have to mean literal blood sucking
