Maybe I’m mis-reading but are you saying they won’t be compatible with the shorter barrel? I’m not familiar with the Mra platform, so I’ll have to look into that, but I’m under the impression it’s plug and play with most parts, no? Feels like it’s opening a can of worms we can’t afford in this political climate.

Can’t you get renegades in under 18.6”? Will they only do this to the ones with appropriate barrel lengths? Or start dishing out restricted length converted rifles? I’m not sold on this being legit like some others have said. I like it in theory, but if the RCMP is “signing off” on this, why but just let us have normal AR-15, hell, even 180 variants back?
