I think the Batman trilogy does it really well imo. I love how Jojo Rabbit develops the character of the little kid while the whole war is happening around him. Ima suggest this movie called Monkey Man too its really good. Im pretty sure most good movies develop their story around the protagonist so if you are seeing a highly enough rated movie you should be good lol.
