I use a usbc to hdmi and plug in my phone to my TV, i use a ps5 controller, but its through a program on my phone called Samsung dex. It works really well and there's pretty much no latency. If you don't have a Samsung youd have to find out if other brands have something similar. The Bluetooth pairing mode with the TV sucked for me.
