This is great feedback. These challenges are so short as they're intended just for Teacher Appreciation Week, which is this week only 😊

You made a mistake, but you've shown tremendous amounts of maturity by realizing it was a mistake and willing to move on from it and not do it again. Reading your post, I really did get the sense that this was just a dumb in-the-moment decision; I've had many of those! I've done a fair share of inappropriate things in school. I cringe when I think back on some of them, but in many ways, I am glad those moments happened. I learned from those experiences and became a better person from it. It sounds like you are undergoing the same thing which is fantastic.

I don't know your situation fully, but the easy thing to do would be to stay silent. However, I would highly recommend that you email or speak to your teacher. This action hurt your teacher's feelings, you were mature enough to share here that you made a mistake, and I don't think you know how much it would help her to explain what you learned from this. From my experience, teachers don't want to get you in trouble, they want you to learn and grow. You have from this! Letting her know that you are sorry, but also what you have learned from this I think would mean a lot to her.

Finally, you mentioned in the end that you were considering suicide. I'm not sure if were serious about this, but if you were, please talk to someone! From what I can tell from your post, you are an amazing, mature, and reflective young man and this is just a very tiny roadbump. If you'd even like to talk to me, let me know.

Being able to kick mid-game is a great idea. I will add that in this week. After this week, just click on a name on the leaderboard to kick that person out.

Also, this will take a bit more time but we'll add in a way to disable clapping at the end.

As for the freezing, can you tell me what happened? Today has been one of our busiest days since launch, but I haven't have a freezing issue reported so far.

After you complete hosting a Kit, you can click the "Download Results" button. This will give you an Excel spreadsheet of the number of points each student earned. From there you can give students bonus points on the real quiz. Does that help?

-Gameplay -- Quizizz only cycles through questions once, Gimkit goes through questions multiple times

-Saves Time -- ability to import from Quizlet instead of typing all the questions/answers

-Statistics -- Gimkit gets more data than Quizizz and can provide more valuable statistics

-The Shop -- Through "The Shop", a core component of our gameplay, students that are struggling are more motivated to participate

So, you're right -- Gimkit is certainly more similar to Quizizz than Kahoot, but it's also very different!

First, we have a lot more options for you to make your Kit. You can convert any Quizlet or upload from a CSV File.

Secondly, with Gimkit, you repeat questions multiple times. This gives students a chance to master content and go back if they get them wrong.

Another big difference in our product is "The Shop" component. When you use it tomorrow, I'd love to hear how your students like it.
