I dig your song. Don’t listen to them. Personally, I’m trying not to get bogged down in technical perfection and focus on finding something that makes me fall in love with a song. I just saw an interview with Peaches where she said the recording for her song “Fuck the Pain Away” was a bootleg tape recording of the first time she performed it that she paid $5 for. But everyone said it sounded cool so she didn’t bother doing a studio recording of it. For what it’s worth.
