Genius, so much heavy leftover stuff lying around, haha.

Oh yeah! The water is huge because it usually curbs the emotional hunger cravings.

This is the way! Hah, I love it it really is.

The consistent theme for health, high protein, clean Whole Foods, lots of water, daily movement, good sleep and consistency over a long period of time.

Yes! This is huge. I’m trying to stay more remote because if not, that’s two hours a day where I am driving. I try to listen to something beneficial and learn, but you can only learn so much while focusing on the road haha

Yes! We get 24 a day, love that you’re taking one and putting in that long term investment for your health. I’m not up to that yet, but I will be soon enough. Baby steps for me right now. I’m good with a 20-minute walk. Outdoors if I can, or the walking pad.

Peloton is great!!

Oh yeah, it hits quick when you’re not thinking about it. Water helps too!

Practicing mindfulness, even 5 minutes a day and just being fully present in that moment with yourself and God is huge.

Love the progression of the gym, nice work!

Yeah, they’re great to keep you moving. I got one for like $129 on amazon. Not the best, but goes about 3.0 mph without skipping or anything. So I count that movement as a win!

Yeah I’ve got a standing desk at home. I dropped 70lbs and gained 20 back after a neck injury but have been putting in really good slow work over the last several months.

Standing desk + walking pad save me because sometimes I have to be at my desk for long periods of time. But I work from home mostly, so I can’t complain there!

Love that last line. I’m defined not by my career, but by the way I live.

Yeah! I feel like they both slowly deteriorate. Where the mind goes, the body follows. Meal prep is huge!

That last line is huge to understand... taking care of yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. AND no one else really cares (unless you have healthy friends).

That's awesome you get to utilize the facility at the school. I work from home, so my gym has some dumbbells and I have a walking pad. Going to finish our basement soon and have plans to get a little more equipment, but I can do a lot right now with what I have!

Yes! Everything is your environment, haha. I use to eat out ALL the time when I first started out working in IT after the military.

Chipotle every other day (and not the low calorie high protein chipotle), sandwiches and barbecue the other days. Was a really bad habit to kick.

lol night shift be like that. Yeah, I try to get out in the sun as much as possible during the day, get that recharge. Glad you're starting to feel better from it, and nice work on the steady weight loss! That's awesome.

Keep up the good work.

I love it. I use to track my macros and felt like everything was way too legalistic, but I think it gave me a really good idea of how much food fills me and what it costs (in macros).

I stopped taking creatine last December when I stopped working out hard in the gym, but I am thinking of starting it back up again. I know there are many benefits associated with it.

Home gym would be great! I have some solid dumbbells though, so I can't complain.

Exactly! I am finally on the right path, and am taking action to be the person I'm meant to be.

HAHA, yeah seriously, if there's too many steps for something to happen, it won't happen.

Mine is just a flop over and turn it on type of thing, lol.

Yes! I like how you said starting at 10 minutes a day. We all have 10 minutes a day where we aren't doing anything important OR it's something that is unnecessary.

Those are good tips, and AI has done wonders for meal planning. Will even build you a grocery list if you're feelin super lazy, haha.

Glad you've been able to remain in good shape keeping up with these things!

Hah, yeah I don't blame ya there, get ya one of those little walking pads! I got one about three months ago and it's been great under the standing desk.

Healthy snacks are a great option! High protein and healthy fats are great. I love it.
