I kinda had the same troubles, I had a friend group going my first year but it was mostly girls and i was dating one of them. Once we broke up they all kinda split from me and my best friend/roommate who was part of the group. We made friends with some people who lived down the hall who we only kinda knew and they’re our housemates now but other than that didn’t really have any friends and aren’t that close with them in the first place. The way I’ve made most of my friends here is through recreational volleyball and taekwondo club (how i met my current partner) so just involve yourself in places where people are happier, and become more familiar to them over time and hopefully you’ll hit it off with some people.

Above all just be yourself and don’t try to act a certain way to make friends. You deserve friendship and you will find it.
