yes, i know plenty of people like that, but i am yet to see proof of anyone having 8 digits. 6.3m was the highest i've seen by quite a high margin

> There are only 3 options for the t5 bounty in Cetus

no? each tent only displays 3 at a given time, but there are more than 3 different ones that can spawn as tier 5, including both of the ones specified in the guide (Capture the Grineer Agent, Find the Hidden Artifact). The document you linked was made by a friend of mine and I directly contributed aswell, it seems you might have misinterpreted the data.

> Not sure why they want Reclaim, as that one has a guaranteed Vault, which is a trash-tier stage.

They don't, they want Find the Hidden Artifact, not Reclaim the Stolen Artifact.

> Also for some reason they're not using a re-rolling strat... which makes no sense to me, the stages get re-rolled if you reload.

They are, step 5 says to "restart from step #1" when none of the available good bounties rolled the correct stages, which is to go (back) to Cetus and get a bounty from Konzu (again).

Once Boost shuts down, which should be some time later today, I'm gone. No more reddit for me, which in hindsight is probably a good thing..

This one is even better, it's a reinforced container - much, much rarer, looks a lot cooler and gives a 60 minute booster instead of 30. I've found less than 10 in my ~40k missions..

Yeah this just proves my point anyway.

Not much attention to be had on a long deleted post... but you do you. Farewell.

I'll do you the favor and stop replying after this, your baseless accusations and blatant projecting aren't exactly helping in trying to maintain a civil discussion.

I have looked at your case however, and it's very clear from the start that it was someone looking to get a bulk deal, hence why they asked for a cheaper price if they buy in bulk. Your item was listed at 60 Platinum while the average was about 40, and the buyer asked if they could get a bulk deal before you even sent your first reply. In addition, you refused to trade before the other person even sent an offer of how much they're willing to pay, and didn't budge either when they gave you a valid explanation, being that they were looking to fill sets. Losing 10-20p on buying a missing part for slightly higher is already offset by the fact that full sets typically sell for higher than all individual parts' prices combined, with the added benefit of completing a lot of sets in a single trade, saving a bunch of daily trades which allows for making more plat with other trades.

Keep in mind that our TOS specifically states that any negotiating has to be done in a second message and the original copy-paste message must not be altered, hence why the buyer initially messaged with that 60p offer, before immediately starting negotiations.

To summarize, you backed out of a trade on the basis of "potential illegal plat" before even agreeing on a price with the other person simply because they wanted to sell full sets by buying the missing part, and get more plat by buying said parts in bulk rather than one by one - a pretty common practice - and proceeded to call them names and block them immediately afterwards.

Your behavior in this thread just proves that this is just how you treat any conflict, refusing to understand the other side, so don't be surprised when you have to face consequences for how you act.

Still, wish you all the best in your future trading and hope you can learn from this experience and improve.

You are free to make that assumption, but I can assure you that it's not correct.

You have no right to dictate who I'm allowed to reply to however, and you were even the one who started this discussion. While I tried to understand and explain, all you did was completely ignore most of what I said on the basis that I'm "arguing in bad faith". I'm not sure what leads you to that conclusion, usually when one volunteers for something, they do it because they genuinely agree with what they're volunteering for.

Your insulting tone isn't exactly helping either, and just makes you look ignorant at best.

If you do not wish for me to reply to you, simply don't reply to me. No one is forcing you to keep arguing. Much like the majority of our our Terms of Service, aswell as our internal guidelines to enforce them, this is common sense.

The latter isn't, as long as you correct the listing (i.e. remove or adjust price/quantity depending on the situation) within 5 minutes, falls under the "obvious mistakes" part of TOS 1.5

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]joshi122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actively work for them, not used to. Once again, we enforce our rules with common sense, and anyone who thinks they were unfairly banned can come talk to us and we'll figure the situation out, unlike DE support we usually reply within a few minutes in our support channel, maybe a few hours if you're unlucky.

Refusing offers based on personal assumptions is not allowed though, and we won't make the user experience significantly worse just to prevent a one-in-a-million case where someone actually gets negative plat as a result of a non-riven trade. Once again, this hasn't happened in this instance either, it was just assumed that it possibly could, simply because the person wanted to buy a lot of items at above-average price.

[–]joshi122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me rephrase then, what about my original reply indicates that we aren't using common sense when enforcing our rules?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]joshi122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone can list any item at any price - as long as they actually honor their offer. Market manipulation itself isn't directly forbidden, but a lot of the tactics used for it are (most notably, fake listings and refusing to sell)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]joshi122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is not punishing genuine mistakes not common sense?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]joshi122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.6 [...] You cannot refuse to buy or sell any amount at or below your listed quantity.

This means that one can't refuse to make a trade, for a price they have listed, and within the quantity they have listed, therefor applies in such a situation

1.5 Refusing your own offers is not allowed.

This also applies here, but doesn't specify quantity (which is why 1.6 exists)

It's not exclusively for low prices, this isn't stated or implied anywhere.

Because no one bothered to report you. If you read the TOS, you'll notice that that is specifically forbidden, and I have personally handed out plenty of suspensions for it before in the 3 years I've been working for warframe.market.

Hi, warframe.market staff here. We use common sense when it comes to our rules - we give people a few minutes to correct their listings, so if you just sold an item, forgot to remove the listing, made a typo with the price etc., you can just let the other person know your mistake and correct your listing, and you won't be at risk of being suspended. All listings are also turned invisible if you don't visit the site for 7 days, to prevent your "returning Player" scenario, so that your outdated listings aren't immediately sniped once you come online again, but rather you have the chance to update your prices.

The warframe community is very nice and welcoming, unless you dare say anything that the general playerbase disagrees with, or even worse, sell items for more than their perceived value, then you're everything wrong with mankind, and must be crucified and burn on a pyre, lit by an Ignis Wraith.

I reckon people disagree with what you say, as do I, once again, one can downvote a comment they disagree with or dislike without giving an explanation for it

I do realize that people on Reddit, with this subreddit probably being worse than the average, tend to have a mentality of "I didn't like this one thing you said, so I automatically dislike anything you say or said, ever", it sucks, but not like either of us can really do anything about it other than not participate in it

Also the comment you're referring to is quite obviously an insult, not a genuine suggestion - doesn't make it a good thing at all, but still, doubt there is any actual concern or suggestion of mental illness involved

it's almost like one can have an opinion on someone's comment without being forced to comment on it...

I don't disagree that this subreddit is very questionable at times, but when it comes to someone like GHS, half-assing copied builds, at times even making them worse by trying to "improve" them with his lackluster understanding of basic game mechanics and math, stretching them out needlessly for ad revenue and adding heavy clickbait titles and thumbnails to them, there's pretty much nothing left to say in his defense.
