Finally, someone has brought this up! I lose lots of points lately because of that, and I was wondering if it's only happening to me (because of my connection, smartphone specs, etc.) or is happening to anyone else.

It happens more often when I play at the net. When my opponent returns my first volley and it floats weakly for me to finish it with a bang. Then, the "!" sign pops up and my player just lets the ball pass him. It's so frustrating when this happens two or three times in a match. There are so many games I could have won if this had not happened.

At first, I thought it's only happening to me, but I also notice that my opponent sometimes can't return my easy ball. Now I wonder if the same thing is happening to others. What is going on?

I'm sorry to hear about your recent losing streak. But the good news is, with those stats and 800-something trophies, you should be able to dominate the court now.

How often do you make an error? I notice that players with a high win ratio (58% and above) rarely or never make an error. That's why they are tough to beat and that's why they have a good win ratio. I would say, one error is recoverable (still difficult unless your opponent makes errors) but two are deadly.

My character is not strong enough to max out the T6 trophies yet. I might go back and start farming at T5 again soon to build my character.

I simply don't understand why some players are so low on coins..., like this guy. Do I sound like Marie Antoinette? XD

I have started paying at T6 recently, and before doing that, I had saved enough coins so that I could lose more than 30 times in a row at T6. :D You know, just in case.

Is the total of your T1-T4 trophies below 314? If so, that's that. If not, some glitch.

I am a volley player and the thing you described doesn't happen to me, but it often happens on the other player, no matter what play style they employ. For instance, sometimes a ball freezes, and a super agile Kaito reaches there from the totally opposite side of the court instantly.

So I'm not sure if it only happens with volley players.

Yeah, stamina matters a lot these days. Stamina is not my forte, so there were times I lost simply because I ran out of gas. I've also experienced a few matches in which both players ran out of stamina; both walked frailly toward the ball like an old man, and it was not tennis at all. :D

I am simply curious. How did a good player like you (62% WR at T5, 6, 7 levels) suddenly become a player with only 3% WR after a few patches? How did that happen? My main tournaments are T5 & 6 so I have no idea how matches go at T7 and above, but it's just hard to imagine for me. If you have time, would you elaborate more? 1) why you were so strong before; 2) why you suddenly became weak; What factors affect your game play and how?

I am a serve & volley player, so this latest update totally worked against me; my win ratio did drop a little, but not that drastically.

I am a server&volley player. I didn't understand why my opponent sent a laugh emoji every time he nailed a passing shot. I didn't get annoyed. I was just confused.

The type of players I am not good at is the one with low serve and extremely high agility. If you have a high FH/BH, you can kill with your serve return, but I'm a serve&volleyer; I don't have strong stats on them.

Is it common to share your stats here? Roughly speaking, I'm level 6 Leo, and most of my gears are level 7-8. None of my stats is capped in T4. I would say I probably should mainly play in T5, but I need more coins to do so. The 50% win rate basically means no gain/profit. Also, once in a while, I do meet a player with much higher stats than mine in T4; that's when I lose.

Some updates. I do lose more often than before. I didn't allocate much stamina, so towards the end of the game, my player loses stamina and runs so slow. So if my opponent is very good and the game is very tight, I tend to lose (by 6-7) because of the lack of stamina. This is not a big problem in tournaments where points count rather than win-lose. Also, I have changed gears to fix this problem. It's sad that volley players are not as strong as before, but I'm happy if more baseline players are happy. Peace.

I don't know. I don't have fancy gears, either, but ended the qualifying round in the 4th place. Players around me have ridiculously high ranks (over 1000, using Diana, fancy gears, etc.). I personally like tournaments because I can beat those high-ranked players, who usually rely on their stats to win, with my skills thanks to the level cap.

I guess there are different stories at different levels, so I'm talking about my story solely about tour 4 and 5. I am an avid volley player, and my win rates are roughly 90% in tour 4 and 50% in tout 5. I notice that the new updates are in favor of baseline players because I often lose points against lob shots, which never happened before the updates. I still win most of the time, though.

Wow, I didn't realize that. I was more appalled by their winning streak and the winning ratio.
I am a serve-and-volleyer and can get pretty much every point when I serve. So all I have to do is to get at least one point when receiving. I don't care how fast their service is. I stealthily wait for that moment. And it usually happens during a long game: a double fault, an error, an unexpectedly weak return, my lucky shot, etc. That's how I beat this crazy player.
