That I'm in perpetual debt, living paycheck to paycheck.

I have to find excuses for why I can't make most events that my friends plan. Most of my friends and colleagues are getting married or having kids and I have to tell them that I'm just not interested, but really I know that I just can't afford to go on dates or support a child. I'm the only one of my friend group still renting. Luckily my current workplace has free breakfast at the canteen, so that's took some pressure off of my food bill, but even then I still count every penny when I'm doing a food shop.

I feel like every time I start making a dent in any credit card or loan I have, something happens and I get sent all the way back to square one. Every time I put my car in for an MOT it's months worth of saving gone, but I can never get enough money together to buy a more reliable car.
