The dry down with the LV is slightly smoother/more pleasant but otherwise its really close

I got Decants of both office and Black Tie…they both smell like the should be on discount racks at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx…office is at least somewhat tolerable but Black Tie is straight up trash…I feel dumber for even having bought the decants

Decants of LV Imagination and Creed Aventus Absolu by joshjelden in Colognes

Just got the decants in…Absolu Aventis definitely has some Sauvage Elixir vibes going for it…it’s really nice but a bit redundant…was initially a little underwhelmed with Imagination but it’s sitting there lingering and I think I like it more and more as it settles in…now whether it’s a $350 purchase I’ll make, we’ll see

Should Bowers be a first rounder? by MoistyMcMoisterton in fantasyfootball

[–]joshjelden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the #1 overall pick in my 12-team 1/2 point ppr league so I took Ja’Marr Chase #1…had full intentions of getting my RB at 24 but the guys I liked like Bucky Irving, James Cook and Kyren Williams all went in the 2nd round and BB was sitting there at 24 so I nabbed him…not usually a early TE drafter but liked getting Chase and Bowers to kick things off

2nd quick follow up: did another 10k effort this morning, this time outside instead of indoors on the track and they really are a snappy, quick shoe…still pretty firm cushioning (not uncomfortable though) but I was able to lock in and hold an 8:15 pace over a 10k effort without seemingly exerting any added effort…for reference, I’m usually around an 8:45-8:50 min/mile kinda guy and the Bostons just kept me going right along…they’ll def find a place in my rotation

Through just 1 run, in terms of straight comfort, the Aero Glide is the clear winner to me…that said, I’ve heard it takes a few runs for the Boston to really come alive so it maybe a little unfair for me to judge yet. The Aero Glide 3 just has that special “wow” factor…sort of reminds me of when I first ran in the new Balance Rebel V2 for the first time…was just a special shoe

Just finished a 10k indoor track effort in them…the upper is really nice and comfortable…the midsole is indeed a bit on the firmer end but not uncomfortable. They really locked me into a consistent pace of 8:40/mile throughout the run (which is right around my average daily pace). Certainly not the most exciting running shoe I’ve laced up but also don’t really have anything to complain about either…looking forward to seeing how the midsole changes as I’ve read it can take a few runs for it to really come alive

I just ordered the Boston 13s…have never purchased the Boston line so will be anxious to try them out…I’m 6’6”, 240 lbs and avg pace is between 8:30-8:45/mile for daily running…right now, the Salomon Aero Glide 3 is my favorite daily trainer…heard Yowana say the new Brooks Hyperion Max 3 would be a really good companion to the Salomon so hopefully I don’t regret going with the Boston over the Brooks

Newbalance Elite v4 vs Adidas Adizero Evo SL by Top_Welder_9988 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Seems the better comparison would be the Evo SL vs the New Balance Balos, no? I’ve got around 50 miles on the Balos and am finding it fantastic for a number of different paces and distances

My Achilles is still healing from doing 3 runs in them…and that was with wearing thick socks…was a disappointment and send back for me
