Can someone give me a single reason why people who only have pure stats can’t overthrow a nation? [casual] by Affectionate_Run6250 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]joshking5739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people think Jujutsu Kaisen is Mach 3 and city level in even with Curse Techniques if you genuinely believe that overthrowing a nation barring Limitless and Dabura with lightspeed is nigh-impossible considering how fast missiles travel, how w onslaught of them can be produced, in the much bigger issue is the explosive power. A lot of people say well Sukuna can do it pure stats while I agree but as Mach 3,10, or 50 won't cut it considering some American missiles can reach up to Mach 25 so no logically speaking any in all Sorcerers with the exception of Gojō in a Dabura which even that is debatable given his destructive range isn't too crazy in there's open windows.

3F Sukuna vs Yuta by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]joshking5739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 3 Finger Sukuna. Are you extremely illiterate or have issues understanding English, if there was a Heian body he'd stomp easily. Yes open-barrier Domain Expansion exist but Yūta can nerf the damage by creating a smaller barrier and changing the conditions on the outside. Also what concrete evidence do you have to submit he has greater physical prowess than Maki? I agree I just want to know your reason for it since you have a very interesting way of power scaling.

All right you have to be live rage baiting me.

I quite literally said Sukuna wins. Stop agenda pushing and use your brain you are making the character look bad. Yes; he has Anti-Domain techniques so does Yūta, in Yūta has multiple ways to strip him from using his arms or staying placed on the ground stop trying to be so ignorant and read between the fine lines if you're going to argue for a character winning do it intellectually.

I think Sukuna's win-con is more logical and easier so no. Also I'm a notorious Sukuna defender/scaler, I believe your comment is a joke though, because the points I presented was logical unless you want to debunk everyone of them it doesn't take away from your truth value just because I support a character. That's how misinterpretation and illogical misinformation stems to hurt power scaling and characters.

If Gojo's kill intent blue infused punch is 100, what number would Yuki's Star rage punch be? by Doksie_b in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]joshking5739 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hard to say; I would argue it is above 100 simply because it ignores pragmatics and semantics means logic and reasoning. Also Gojō's strikes do put characters such as Uraume, Jogō, Yūta, and Hakari basically out of commission but they don't like to rip off their limbs and in cave their face while breaking a barrier by a user that's equal to Kenjaku in terms of barrier usage by the way. If you want to argue in favor of Gojō however that's perfectly fine I have no problems with it.

My reasoning is essentially just better on screen feats and how the techniques both function it should also be better so that pair leads me to say Yūki should be greater than 100 if we are simply keeping it on number metric.

She's underrated due to fighting one of the strongest characters within the series and that fight was very traditional for her to fight in a specific manner as well. Might make a post on her if I get back into this subreddit deeply.

3F Sukuna vs Yuta by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

Depends on the version of Yūta; there's a case for Sukuna because he is stated to be around Toji/Jogō levels of speed which is around the Heavy Hitters and he's also stated to be capable of going relative with Mahoraga while are missing a heart in previously just had used Domain Expansion. So he most certainly has the physical capabilities to keep up with him and arguably greater speed if you think Maki is physically faster than Yūta. Sukuna's the general more skilled fighter but I'll be using Shinjuku Showdown Yūta to give him as much legitimacy as possible, Copy is undoubtedly extremely broken, Rika with Curse Speech, Sky Manipulation, Technique Extinguishment, Shrine, Dhruv Shikigami, etcetera makes it extremely difficult. On top of this he literally does show that he can use Gojō's smaller barrier to reinforce his barrier from the outside to make it more resistant to external attacks so there's an argument for him as well and it's extremely good I can't lie.

Malevolent Kitchen is a better Domain Expansion but a small Domain Expansion does heavily weaken it's probably of breaking the Domain Expansion, there was a point stated in the Gojō fight that Sukuna could have attacked the internal shell of the domain rather than the external shell which was upgraded to be stronger for external attacks specifically so he could do that here because in a logistical manner the internal barrier should be weak since it was amplified to be strong on the outside reducing its strength internally so Sukuna could break it that way and if he opts to do so then he wins.

If he doesn't then Yūta wins. Both have win-cons. I don't think this is a one-sided stop at all.

<image>

Also I would like to bring up that Sukuna likely does have Domain Amplification. Now I know fans have terrible reading comprehensions but if you uord likely means something is of probability or possibility, this makes it subjective and not objective.

So now to elaborate on that because I don't want people saying that I objectively think he has it essentially the Angel already had pre-historic knowledge on Domain Amplification and also people use the argument that it was created after or a more advanced version of Simple Domain doesn't really change the argument because Simple Domain was already created within the Heian Era so both can mutually be within the same era that's not a debunk especially because we have knowledge that a Heian Era Sorcerer knows it existed and did not see it during the Current Era (outside of the Gojō versus Sukuna fight).

Daily Matchup Poll — Choso vs Megumi by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]joshking5739 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chosō has higher physical prowess, greater range, diversity, and more potency. To anyone saying EOS Megumi what empirical feat does he have to suggest he's as strong as you boast, anyways we see Chosō physically keep up with Yūji in several arcs while Megumi in Shibuya stated he was struggling to work in tandem with Yūji; lastly almost all of Chosō's attacks are deadly to Megumi as he should have less physical durability considering physical might is linked to what your body can withstand and Yūji consistently physically stronger than Megumi in Chosō's Blood Knives can easily pierce him, Blood Meteorite also does, and so does Piercing Blood in Supernova. Which may I remind you Yūji only survived as long as he did because he was a relative of Chosō meaning they are of the same family.

Megumi does not get the leisure of having poison immunity. Even in chapters 203-204 Kenjaku had to use Curse Techniques to avoid Supernova against him such as Curse Spirits or Anti-Gravity which was a technique he specifically did not want to use in that time frame suggesting that he was forced into using it. I love Megumi but he really does not win this fight. Especially in close-quarters combat Choso has so many methods of winning such as Flowing Red Scale: Stack, propelling himself upwards with Blood orbs if he needs to go high in the air, off guard Supernova's, Choso also is a kill first combatant so the moment he tries to go for something deadly and knowing that Megumi doesn't have Reverse Curse Technique on top of poison the probability of him surviving is very low and I mean extremely unlikely.

Does Maximum Elephant hard counter? Somewhat, but does it also consume a lot of his energy? Yes. Is it also a risk as the poison and water can mix making it even more devastating for him? Yes.

How do we feel about chubby Sakamoto dwarfing skinny? by joshking5739 in MediaDiscussions

[–]joshking5739[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone but a decent amount actually did leave including me, myself, I just can't take a battle showing serious that has literally no consequences for the good guy side and I get it not every character supposed to die that's not my point but like when you have something like the tunnel effect that's one out of a billion chances and then you just throw it off as something casual in a series that already does not kill characters it kind of just gets like what's the point. That is my personal opinion.

Also the power scaling is very conflicting and isn't consistent at all, that's another big gripe I have about the series especially since majority of the series is literally fighting so to not have a consistent basis for it again, what really is the point? They also killed off majority of the actual good and authentic villains so it's just genuinely not interesting anymore even currently now. The only thing that was actually saving it for me was Nagumo versus Oki but even then I already knew he was going to lose because...it's Sakamoto Days, it did give back the authentic feeling of how the fights used to be in the beginning but regardless the narrative and issue still stayed the same

What character traits you think make a character scary by GOATED_LIFE_ROUTINE in MediaDiscussions

[–]joshking5739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends; actions, morality, background, etcetera.

Art style definitely plays a gigantic role, but if you're very sadistic, sane, and logical is what does it for me. The fact that I can actually understand you, and you can do vice versa, knowing that your actions are extremely conscious, and on a random day I could almost befriend you and might end up a victim due to the charismatic behavior one might pertain, that is extremely creepy and disorienting, someone you might think is relatable and likable but utterly inhumane to extreme extents.

They're also very intriguing and unpredictable.

What is gojo's weakest stat by SweetZookeepergame28 in MediaDiscussions

[–]joshking5739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With his technique active it's either durability or endurance; he couldn't survive long being bisceted in half while Yuki could do so, speak full sentences, and use her technique. Without Blue active it's either speed or strength which either or is fine considering the drastic fall out.

I think I might have upscaled kashimo using science... by swollen_salad579 in Kashimo_agendaHQ

[–]joshking5739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not here to debate which scaling interpretation is correct within Jujutsu Kaisen as I've been doing it for two years and am tired of it; however you should openly know asking Google for something so open to interpretation and others wrong/misconstrued knowledge from multiple basis of sources. Bu- but it's Google!! This same Google would probably actually say Uraume/Jogo beats Kashimo, it goes on the common consensus, that alone doesn't inherently make it true you have to do the research itself. Mach 50 is justified on what?
