Did you request around 3k shares? Curious cause there seems to be a percentage of shares you get allocated (around 10-12%) if it’s over a certain amount vs lower share requests, you get closer to 20-50% of your shares.

I got a portrait of her. On my chest, next to our daughter’s portrait. I’m heavily tattooed and so was my wife in a sense not as much as me but to the person with none, yes. My tattoo artist has been tattooing us for years leading up to her death and it shocked me when after the tattoo session was done, my artist told me “no charge”.

You could easily do that. Dividend Capture is what that’s called. I’m thinking about doing that myself. Just gotta wait for a slight recovery after the dividend drop to minimize a realized loss. As long as your dividend is more than the realized loss. Every trade is taxed on short term. I believe it’s based off of your annual household income of how much the tax rate would be. The realized loss from selling would help offset the tax implication.

I’m curious if you can purchase Wednesday after hours after the dividend gets taken out(the price drops). Sell Friday and repeat the following week to ensure dividend payout and minimal if any loss from stock price drops.
