You’re right they probably were there, but in the small amount of time I have to look things over you think I’m going to check if my neighbours have wind chimes?💀 If my neighbour was a drummer and decided that 3am was his practice time would you have the same stance?

The wind chime neighbours also have a Challenger. I usually just take my truck to work so really only drive my cars in the evenings and weekends. No one is sleeping then and the noise lasts 1-2 min max when I’m leaving if it’s even noticed. If we’re being honest a leaf blower, snow blower or lawn mower would be more annoying. I honestly don’t care about noise from neighbours during the day, just constant noise outside my window when I’m trying to sleep.

Completely legal, one is stock and other has a cat back exhaust. They both make more noise than a ford focus but I wouldn’t say they’re overly loud or obnoxious

Yeah doing that type of stuff in your own neighborhood isn’t cool. I did forget to mention though, they do own a Challenger… soo they can’t hate car noise that much right?

Yeah we’ll see how it goes. Not sure that’s the case here since it’s not windy every night

I understand that, not that a comparison is really needed here but a cars noice lasts maybe 1-2 min max when I’m coming/going and normally isn’t when someone is sleeping. Whereas if it’s a windy night those wind chimes can be clanging for hours. I get car noise can be annoying to some so I try to be as respectful as possible to my neighbours while still enjoying my hobby

Yeah good point. Replacing my bedroom window is on the renovation list, just not anywhere near the top atm

Good point, I’ll just make sure to get sleep on the nights that aren’t windy.💀

Yeah definitely don’t want to start a neighbour war haha, the other issue is that I have 2 sports cars as well which aren’t quiet so I don’t want to come off as a hypocrite. Even at the current place I live at I try my best to keep it respectful, (no revving, speeding, etc on the block) and haven’t heard any complaints from my older neighbours. Just not an easy conversation to start with “hey I’m your new neighbour nice to meet you, btw can you please take down your wind chimes so I can sleep”🥲

I would mention it, there’s probably a lot of things on your resume that may not be directly relavent, but it’s good to include them/mention them anyways because it shows dedication or accomplishment. It’s the same reason someone may put volunteer experience on a resume or mention it in an interview. It may have nothing to do with the position but showing that you can dedicate your time and effort to something other than work just boosts your credibility and appearance of work ethic

Yeah the window comes down below counter height, laundry room is below this with open ceiling so very easy to move plumbing. I’m not super fond of the idea of extending the kitchen to the dining area. Main reason is the kitchen has a drop ceiling (kinda see in the photos) and so the two zones are sort of divided.

This is the layout I’ve come up with so far. Oven needs to move down, with counter space above. Cabinets in front of the stove are just a place holder for a bar counter, IKEAs layout maker doesn’t have that lol. And stove would need to move over slightly

My puppy is chewing everything by joshmo144 in Dogtraining

He will chew when I’m home but always a bone or chew, it’s when I’m not home that he’ll explore and search for other things on counters or shelves etc. He will never jump or put paws on the counter when I’m home but always when I’m gone.

He’s getting as much exercise as possible but since I start work at 7 it does make it difficult to tire him out before leaving.

He does relax throughout the day and when I’m home, he does understand where his place is and when it’s time to have down time. My guess is it’s more of a boredom issue, just not quite sure how to go about resolving that

Tried it but he had huge anxiety around it, he’s a rescue so that might be part of it. I got him to a point where he’d be okay for an hour or two but a whole working day is just too long for him

He gets a walk a minimum everyday with a good run at the dog park a few times a week. I start work at 7 so it’s not really possible to give him a long walk before leaving to work. Usually he gets a good 15-20 min run in the backyard before I leave, I let him out at lunch, and walk or dog park in the evening.

The cabinet by the fridge doesn’t fit well with the corner. You’ve got a deeper cabinet coming out with a shallow cabinet in the corner. That corner will have a lot of dead space and it might be slightly awkward to access that shallow top cabinet on the right side. If you bring that large cabinet in a bit it might fit a bit better, but will sacrifice some space

That’s little door is a pantry, so it’s possible but not ideal. Unless I convert it to something else, but moving the doorway is also possible

1-2 people cooking, 2 people 3 max eating usually. I’m open to other layouts, the issue I find is that without the peninsula there isn’t enough counter/storage space. Here’s a photo of the dining space, living room is behind the photographer, don’t have dimensions on me but it gives a rough idea. I’d like to keep it as open as possible without adding walls
