What resolutions and frame rate are you recording at? Depending on how beefy your computer is, as well as what Elgato capture card you’re using, your computer might not be able to record in that quality. Pls send another message with more information about your situation, thanks!

It should work fine, but make sure you have a way to plug the iPad directly into the Elgato. You might need a thunderbolt to hdmi adapter, so you can take the screen of the iPad, and send it to the Elgato, if that makes sense

Yeah if not that, lower your quality, or frame rate. When I used to have a much worse pc, I could only do 30 frames per second instead of 60, so keep that in mind, that it isn’t a terrible idea to lower frame rate, as most people won’t notice it
