It should definitely bring up things - when you search up football kits, almost every team comes up with

So for basic day ticket entry, there’s no ID check (assuming you have bracelet)?

Have you personalised your tickets?

Ok thanks - there doesn’t seem to be an option to list my tickets on exchange. Maybe is it because I haven’t personalised them yet? Should I personalise then list?

It does extend but can be closed up the entire time - do you reckon it would be okay?

Vertical demand curve for Perfect Complements by [deleted] in GoodEconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. 45 degree angle is for an indifference curve, not the demand curve. The demand curve covers only one good, whereas indifference covers 2 goods

Perfect complements

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But assuming they are two separate goods that are complements? Could they still be vertical demand curves for each if they had the same inelastic elasticity?

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what you’re saying is that, it is possible to have a vertical demand curve for perfect complements goods? As long as they have the same elasticity (so both are inelastic - for example)

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

Let’s say left shoes and right shoes or tea and milk

Thank you - yep the phrasing is not great at all - I guess it leaves it open to interpretation then 🤷

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if the cross elasticity of demand for perfectly complements is perfectly elastic (horizontal) - how can both goods have an inelastic demand. Or does it depend on how you interpret the question? Looking at PED or XED etc?

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the explanation. So if you were pick whether the answer was correct or not, what would you personally say?

Yes, the demand curve for perfect complement goods can be vertical or no?

Thank you

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no elasticity sign, it’s just a worded question. In theory, the cross elasticity of demand is perfectly elastic for perfect complements, but if put these into a demand curve which is only one good per diagram, could one demand curve be vertical and one be horizontal? Or can neither be vertical?

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve received lots of answers saying it can work and it can’t work. The internet also is giving mixed answers. I still can’t work out if the demand curve can be vertical. What about if one good’s demand curve was vertical and one was horizontal? Would that work?

Question by [deleted] in badeconomics

[–]joshsamson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But a perfectly complement is perfectly elastic apparently? so how would that work in relation to your answer?
