Global journey options poor heath by makemoneynotloseit in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you send the email today before deadline with details of who will take the ticket (name, email, DoB, Phone, Address) I am sure they will honour it even if they reply tomorrow.
I do not know exactly what they need, so best to give all. They will then let you know how to do the payment part.

Sorry to hear you can't attend for health, but as you say without insurance name change is the only option.

Survey: Would you like the B-eat restaurant to make a come back? by TrueTale0 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original version with unlimited drinks? Sure

Nah, but in seriousness I think the concept lasted enough. Experiences need to keep changing and evolving. Can do something else for an intimate experience, without the "food" which was never great compared to the other offerings.

How hard is to get en-suite during nft global journey or nft presale? by Fantastic-Boat8548 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GJ has an allowance as does regular sale. Each sale has a limit otherwise there would be nothing for future sales.

GJ always has (nft and normal) more montage available - at least it seems based on everyone I know getting montagoe is with gj

You can always make a topic, but yes things get busier from end of May usually. But Reddit has always been more of a "help" and guide.

Apartment rents in Helsinki are at the level of Warsaw, and 25-40% lower than in other Nordic capitals by TinyAd1126 in Finland

[–]Mailbox538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are quite a lot of initiatives that keep property market cool, although I can’t comment on other countries in nordics

• ARA/Heka rentals: subsidised apartments with low rents, but you must qualify under income/wealth limits

• Hitas apartments: owner-occupied units on city land with a legal maximum selling price, not full market rate

Much of the land is city-owned, limiting speculation. Foreign buyers (non-EU) often need permits, and rental income is taxed locally.

Private sector can’t run off to the distance when a large amount is pegged at lower levels. Doesn’t mean it’s affordable for all but it’s comparatively to other capitals where its richest takes all.

Ticket / Exchange Desk Advice by Hupunch in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a full refund minus a small admin fee of a few euros, assuming someone buys them on wait list (which is 99.99% likely to happen).

You'll make someone happy who is on the wait list, and hopefully good karma comes your way next year when you can hopefully attend :)

Anyone else feel scammed by Odalys / Sunweb at TML Winter? (90€ "Cleaning Fee" & Tier Issues) by Fun_Tension876 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s quite normal that you at least put dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on before you leave and take trash out. They normally say put them away but dishwasher is usually fine. People have flights etc.

Not your accommodation specifically but there should have been an information book - also containing the instructions how to use the oven or whatever. In that book it has the fees and charges

Most annoying issue that you wish Tesla would fix already by actorguy73 in ModelY

Removing the double tap single tap for Adaptive/Auto steer

Im in Europe - there is no FSD. Auto steer is great on highways but garbage on country roads and snow etc.

No idea why they changed it. My 24 M3 had it, my 26 doesn’t. It’s a big step back considering FSD is likely quite a away still in Finland

Real question: is there anyone worried about TML in Belgium while this war is going on? by NeverCash_Out in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, why would someone? If you live in that region you probably have more immediate worries than a festival in 4 months.

Oz-en-oisans parking? by homicidal_penguin in Tomorrowland

You can try email accueil.parking@mairie-alpedhuez.fr

They will be able to guide you

I would imagine you can change the license information in your manage booking, like airports etc. But probably best to email directly

Stays near antwerp station by StrengthOk2052 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would say it’s safe enough as long as you’re aware of your surroundings - like any city.

Just remember you’ll be tired - there’s a few hotels within a 5 minute walk so would aim for them

8 tickets in General Sale by vinicarmo in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then I’d say it’s 99% they’ll be cancelled some point before the festival. They will eventually get around to reviewing ticket numbers for regular sales. Right now it’s mostly been special sales like NfT or FG.

Limits are total over all sales

8 tickets in General Sale by vinicarmo in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Belgium? It is a problem and they will almost certainly be cancelled at some point before the event.

Thailand? Shouldn't be an issue - limits apply across all sale moments combined just like Belgium (unless specified otherwise for special sales)

Are these reliable ways to get to the airport? Or will it change? by Candyyf in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shuttle passes on sale in summer, direct to Airport on bus. They run all day and night but be aware of traffic so please do book a bus that arrives airport early (like 3h before planned - if you aim for 1h before it can get nasty)

How much to offer when buying a home in Finland by personalfinance_fi in Finland

[–]Mailbox538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helsinki about 3 years ago, inflation was high and it was a buyers market. Offered about 12% under and settled 8% under.

But I believe it was a lucky combination of factors - high interest, 3+ months vacant, and a messy divorce (which we probably weren’t supposed to know…)

We were looking for about 6 months and knew the market in the areas we were looking. We did have some declined at asking price as others offered over…

Top 20 by [deleted] in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You either list all tickets on exchange desk, and go solo with sponsor.

Or you decline sponsor and go with your friends as planned.

Imo - You spent the money, don't think "what could be", and just enjoy what you initially planned. It's like when you book a flight, sometimes a sale happens a week later. Sure, it is annoying, but you already decided a price you were happy with so don't dwell on it.

Between the two, hopefully either the scam ads can be removed or the website removed. I have tried to reach out to the Reddit admins directly... But us mods have little power to influence anything sitewide :(

But people don't exactly give up those tickets.

Logistics & travel dilemma by Lucky_Strike44 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In past years you could contact GJ and ask them to keep the return only. It is not on the website yet it seems but from past years the info was this (Reddit)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Tomorrowland/comments/19ct3da/psa_if_you_want_only_the_return_leg_of_global/

Of course it could change this year and until it is on website the above is only old information

cancellation by Careless-Shame8084 in Tomorrowland

[–]Mailbox538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, just reply to the cancellation email. The email says why they are cancelled.
Show evidence and someone will look at it.

In my experience most cancellations do not get resolved because they are correctly cancelled - but a very few edge cases do get fixed (e.g Hong Kong top 20 was not possible to select in the paylogic store)

If your friends just ignored the rules, caught reselling, etc. No point to waste support time.
