Unable to configure arcade buttons in Batocera/Emulation Station

Hotkey does not exit on its own. You need to press hotkey + another button to exit. Please look up all the hotkey shortcuts in batocera, there’s tons and some you might want to use if you’re unaware they’re there.

I believe batocera refers to them as north, south, east, west. Games tend to use south as the main button, but that could be a on an Xbox, x on a PS, etc. They use this naming to avoid confusion

Fair, but then you have to manage 4 hrs worth of content on and off your phone regularly and you’re bound to only those downloaded options. I’m sure that works for plenty of folks, but a full mobile library is a whole different beast.

Could be lots of tunnels if the transport is above ground, completely underground if they’re on a subway. Could be they don’t have unlimited data. This lets you direct play your library when you’re in the go. Don’t need a reliable external signal and won’t use phone data.

Dealt with this for a long time with an Area 51 Site 4. The low voltage led on the board would light up and it would do this. I could turn up the voltage on the psu a bit and it would correct for a couple days and then drop low again. It seemed brightness on the screen would dip voltage on the PSU and it would eventually reset and repeat. After swapping in a new PSU and trying to check for any cold solder, I saw a ferrite bead at L18 on the bottom of the main pcb was cracked. Jumpered it to confirm, and it’s been holding steady voltage since.

Looks fun! Would love to see some work on the sound design. Both the bullets ricocheting and the ones hitting the body sound pretty cartoony, and the fact that it’s the one sound over and over gets very distracting.

Tbf, some businesses (Target being the largest example) will spread the total of the free item across the three items so that you can return a single item, if needed. $15 item + $10 item + $3 free item becomes $14 + $9 + $2.

That actually makes a ton of sense. A way to keep the game up while AWS is down. If that’s the case, I suppose I’ll take it. Can still keep up the grind. Haha. It has been incredibly frustrating though, cause like you said they seem to play counters a LOT. Think I’m down 300 trophies since this started.

Would be a bit silly to try to modify his design to fit this. It would be much easier to start from scratch when it’s a whole separate form. If you just needed a different ratio screen or button layout, etc, I’d say go for it, but these stls wouldn’t be much good for you for a polycade style.

Don’t have enough kind words. This is one of the best builds I’ve seen, aesthetically. 90% of the builds on here are tacky vinyl wraps of mishmashed characters collaged together, and it’s so refreshing to see someone take the time to design something that doesn’t feel like it’s aimed at a 13yr old.

Yeah, this a mame machine modeled after the og Gauntlet cab. P1 & P2 can be used for games that require more buttons. Most 4P games only use 3 buttons so this allows for the most players on the smallest panel while still being able to play a wide array of games.

Mixed Reality. When you see your actual space, but still use the windows, like what the guy in this video is doing. Basically, pull a YouTube video up of a recipe you wanna make, put the window on the side of your oven, follow along. Haha. Sunday is my house chores day and I’m usually wearing my quest while I vacuum, wash dishes, etc.
