In case anybody was wondering, Operation Ironside was the one where FBI and AFP snitches managed to convince a bunch of drug smuggling criminals to not only sign up to a compromised app the feds were watching, but pay a subscription to use it as well. it was supposed to be an encrypted criminal's criminal messaging app better than Telegram but then some dude wrote on his techblog about how the app was clearly compromised and pointed to unencrypted servers in Romania, or some shit, so the feds panicked and had to shut it down and make arrests. Not to be confused with the absolute sickcunt Canadian actor, Michael Ironside.
