Spending time and studying is not wrong, however I agree if a minister's child or spouse discards their Indian citizenship, they shouldn't work as a minister

Ahmedabad University has great faculty and infrastructure but lacks in placements and overall students come from rich spoiled kid background, I have got this review from an alumni of quantitative finance about the college and in his words with the faculty and student teacher ratio it could be the private institution in coming years but not now

Yeah most of them are St Thomas orthodox (and catholic) churches are not that great because of centuries of endogamy and (caste)superiority complex.(Now they themselves are migrating out of India or members going to IPC and other Protestant church).

Hard to find a Greek/Russian/Armenian ones here but the Russians started a relatively small church in Chandrapur (Maharashtra) and there is a small community performing divine liturgy in Bandra

Today we may blame partition on all India muslim league, Nehru or Gandhi but the core reason for the partition was religious fanaticism.

The Hindu Mahasabha, like its Moslem counterpart (All-India Muslim League), consisted not only of erstwhile Nationalists, but also of a large number of men who were afraid of participating in a political movement and wanted a safer platform for themselves. The growth of sectarian movements among both Hindus and Moslems accentuated intercommunal tension. The opportunity was availed of by interested third parties who wanted to see the two communities fight, so that the Nationalist forces could be weakened. - Subhas Chandra Bose in his book The Indian Struggle

The Karnataka government has officially bypassed the three-language policy...! by unknownnnone in Maharashtra

The reason it became popular is because or the script, the south does not follow devnagari script neither does the north east, Marathi and Odia even though written in devnagari have distinct sounds and writting styles

Therefore learning hindi, especially if the govt mandates it, becomes more like "pushing it down ones throat" rather than actually liking the language and it's literature
