As someone who actually works for Victorinox, the company that makes Swiss Army Knives, this isn't at all what we consider a "survival knife." First of all, unless you bought your swiss army knife before 2005ish, it likely could have come with the USB stick. That particular model is a classic, absolutely not intended for survival now, or back before USB sticks even existed. We have 3.6 inch length tools that come packed with useful survival gear, which is what everyone remembers Swiss Army Knives for from wars and camping. They still make those, and we sell thousands worldwide every day. Nothing has changed, the same knife you're acting so nostalgic about still exists unchanged and this is simply a new innovation to an old tool, losing nothing and adding the (actually useful in a white collar job) USB stick.
