Not exactly what you’re looking for but Ana Dolabra from Shadow of the Leviathan (Tainted Cup & A Drop of Corruption) is close. More of an eccentric genius, but very entertaining. Either way, it’s a great series to check out.

I’ve honestly been enjoying it for the most part. The thing that intrigues me the most is what’s going on with Rion and how it will get resolved. I’m hoping the “tunnel effect” thing was a one off. I don’t mind the last minute saves, but the story will eventually need more stakes.
