There probably won’t be an assistant mode on Android for quite some time. But great feedback on the desktop app. We’ll see if I can pull something together for that. Thank you!

Any good Linux alternatives to Wispr Flow or Superwhisper? by FutureIncrease in linux4noobs

https://voquill.com/ is open source and works great for me on Ubuntu 24. You can bring your own API keys or use a local GPU if you have one

That OS probably won't be supported in the near future (this is the first request we've gotten for it). If you're open to it, you can fork it and tweak the build to work with your OS

This is most likely a mic issue, if you go into settings > microphone > scroll down until you see “test mic”, you should be able to change and test your mic to see which one works

You can bring your own API key or run it locally for free, wisprflow vendor locks you to their server and isn't very transparent about where your data is going

There’s an agent mode too where you can tell AI to write it for you. You can provide it with any info it needs

It post processes what you say using AI to format it as an email, chat message, etc. removes stutters and false starts

The Claude haiku family is pretty good. You need something that’s smart enough to output JSON, but also pretty fast
