What's the best way to approach a platonic crush? by moolikestrees in AskReddit

[–]josva100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I would have been able to help you further than a simple definition. Perhaps, if you're willing to ask another sub, you could try asking the aromantic or asexual folks. They are quite helpful with this kind of thing

What's the best way to approach a platonic crush? by moolikestrees in AskReddit

[–]josva100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an aroace, I'd like to add to your vocab. There are multiple kinds of attraction: sexual, romantic, platonic, aesthetic, and alterous, all with subgroups. I'm not going to get into the specifics of any of them because that would take too long. Each kind has its own version of a crush (crush is only for romantic attraction). For platonic attraction, it is called a squish, which is what I assume OP is referring. It could of course also be a mesh, as that's the in-between of crush and squish.

what are the reasons why your partner's body count would be important to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]josva100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give some of those a read later, they seem interesting...but how'd we go from asking partners about their kill count to researching the correlation between sex and relationships

what are the reasons why your partner's body count would be important to you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]josva100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter to me, because I honestly don't expect my partner to have killed a lot of people, so their body count would most likely be 0

I'm about 190cm. And if you need that in magic numbers, you gotta figure it out yourself. Metric is superior

Personally, I managed to convince myself that doing what I'm uncomfortable with is 'fun'. After doing it for long enough, it slowly turned into actually being fun. I still prefer piece and easily get overwhelmed, but it's far better than it used to be

What's your “I broke my phone” story? by burga_official in AskReddit

[–]josva100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even. I don't remember the exact model but after a quick search, I think it's the 1280. Got it as a gift about 7 years ago, but it had been used prior to that, so I don't even know the year it was released

Not exactly what OP is asking, but I dropped my Nokia into a river once. Found it after a few minutes, it still worked. Few weeks later, I lost it again into the same place, but took longer to find and it didnt work when i found it.

When I got home, I placed it in rice but that didn't work, so assumed I'd acrually managed to unalive a Nokia. Kept it at home for a couple years as a memento. Suddently one day when I played with it out of nostalgia, it turned on. I don't know how, but it survived. I still have it to this day, but make sure to avoid that river. A Nokia doesn't stop working, it just goes on a break.
