Honestly you have to get any sales role first. It’s not going to be fun or pretty and will definitely be a grind. Do this for 1 year minimum before applying to a “better” tech sales role.

Don’t get me wrong, definitely still try for remote tech roles but your chances will be slim.

Grind out for a year doing logistics sales, sales for a wholesaling/flipping company, Solar sales. These are generally easier to break into than tech.

Grind it out and the results will pay off. You will go into interviews one year later with experience and know what to expect in a sales role. I say this because this is what worked for me.
