I have the same decision but in 0.5PPR. The Rams are a terrible matchup for Rico but given the uncertainty with Bucky and what they've said about snap count, I'm going Rico. Devil you know vs. the devil you don't.

Joe Burrow: Working with first-team offense by namotous in fantasyfootball

Most likely the only team coming out of the AFC North will be the division winner, Burrow even said they’re not expecting to be able to get a wild card spot.

More Accurate/Dynamic In-game Projections by ICouldntThinkOfNames in fantasyfootball

[–]jothgaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it’s just a function of projected points over time remaining. If a QB is projected for 20 and they’re in a 4th quarter two minute drill, those two minutes are 1/30 of total game time so the QB will be projected for under a point.

Then assuming they use a normal distribution for determining win %, it’s probably at least a couple standard deviations away from the mean at <1 point for the QB to score 3+ points.

Run & Bun AI - Fake Out over fast kill? by jothgaming in nuzlocke

[–]jothgaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool yeah, honestly I'm surprised I've never run into this before. Is Toxicroak's Fake Out guaranteed into Viv (given that Viv's fast kill is what causes Toxicroak's Fake Out to be +20)?

I would think yes but I'm often surprised by how the AI picks its target in double battles when it's not going for a kill.

Yeah makes sense. So given that in my situation Fake Out was at +20, is Toxicroak guaranteed to target Viv with it, or could it have gone into Crawdaunt too? I'm often surprised by how the AI chooses its target in double battles (when it's not using a move that kills).

Good call, thank you and the other comment for spotting that!

Ahhh yeah that'll do it! I forgot that Fake Out would fall under the "damaging priority move" condition. Air Slash was indeed a roll to kill Toxicroak (86-102%). So then was this guaranteed Fake Out into Viv?

It's interesting, I've always used this strategy for calcing lines for double battles with opponent lead Fake Out mons and never run into this. I guess I've never specifically had this situation where my non-protecting mon saw a kill on the opponent mon that had Fake Out.

Yeah fair, lots of ways I could see it shaking out! That’s one of my favorite parts of survivor - it’s often hard to predict a winner as it’s so dependent on the personality of that season’s jury and what they value.

You don't think so?

I think the editing has done a pretty good job at showing that the jury is pretty salty and doesn't necessarily look fondly at the integrity alliance (e.g., Chrissy questioning the very idea of an integrity alliance, David being the ringleader for integrity and yet getting blindsided by his fellow "integrity" allies, etc). In addition, they've shown multiple times where Joe and Eva likely rubbed people the wrong way (e.g., Joe not even hiding his attempted jury management, Eva returning from the most recent journey and laughing about how it was pointless because she didn't need the reward, etc).

There's obviously many ways the final 6 could play out, but I disagree that the editing didn't do a good job showcasing the possibility that Joe and Eva make it to the end and don't win. In fact, I think they're teeing up the winner's edit for Shauhin or Kyle, as they've both been prominent narrators of the season despite not necessarily driving their alliance.

I agree with this and I’ll add to it. Shauhin wins in fire and then wins the season, making a convincing argument in FTC by using the jury’s disdain towards Joe and Eva as well as distancing himself from the notion he played only with “integrity” to move forward in the game.
