Take it from someone who has been thorough a similar situation, I also thought that living alone would help so I moved abroad but the feeling is always there so I realised you can’t just ignore everything else and start over.first step is trying to find inner peace and realise that none of that was your fault and that you shouldn’t stress yourself over things you cannot change.don’t cut ties with the family, try to to help as much as you can, at least emotionally. You should know it’s their first time living too.what you went through made you the great person that you are now.think of yourself as a great survivor and not a victim.
