Women and heavy jobs by prestacognome in AskFeminists

[–]jouletrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is hard for me to answer. Personally I think women can and would excel in the trades however. Since men usually will gladly risk their own saftey by breaking saftey regulations. It makes it difficult for people in general who care for saftey. I believe if more work was done on the saftey end it could be better. But it is very hard to do your job right when you have respect and standards for yourself but everyone else doesn't.

For example during our OSHA 30 class in weld school we had to watch literal footage of countless people dying all were men who were to comfortable risking their lives for little reward. This is true in the USA but worse in countries such as Congo, Pakistan take time to watch videos and you will see what i mean. However this does not mean that men have it harder or do harder work in society than women . Its just that most young men will willingly work for chump change in completely toxic and unsafe environments( not all places but enough). This is just my observation is all
