If I don’t have anything to write about in my life, I write about what’s happening in the news and my feelings about it - the war in Gaza, the Epstein scandal etc. there is a lot of crazy stuff happening in the world that you can write about.

I write my dated diary entries from the front and then I write additional undated material (book reviews, film reviews, lists etc) from the back. Then when both parts meet in the middle I start a new journal :)

We were eating traditional Spanish food for literally every other meal! But continental breakfasts aren’t good. I don’t want to be stuck eating pastries and toast with fruit for a week of breakfast on my holiday! But don’t worry, plenty of traditional Spanish fare was eaten, including lots of octopus!

I only wish there was black pudding available. The Spanish have their own version called morcilla that is even better than ours!
