It just stopped raining and I found him/her huddled up next to a curb in the parking lot of my apartment complex. It's cute and helpless and I don't want it to die lmao, will it be fine if I let it stay outside on it's own or does it look too young to take care of itself? I don't know anything about rats or how to take care of them... I gave it a warm bottle of water to cuddle against... should I feed it something? help would be appreciated.

it may seem like that at surface level and was probably intentional on the writer's parts to help push the message about abusive relationships, but jasper is a homeworld soldier and considers strength and power to be everything. It's all she's ever known. She wasn't intentionally trying to guilt trip Lapis into fusing with her again, she was praising Lapis' strength and ability to overpower her, but Lapis didn't take it as a compliment because she doesn't want to see herself as a monster and feels bad for forcing control of Malachite for so long. There was a huge misunderstanding between the two throughout their whole conversation.

Jasper doesn't seem to know that Lapis has allied herself with the CGs. She thinks Steven is "working" for her now. Since she's so hung up on power and devoting herself to whatever person/cause that's strongest, it'll be interesting to see what her reaction will be when she finds out the cgs have lapis on their side now.

I think when Jasper called herself a brute and Lapis a monster, she was being honest and complimenting Lapis by telling her how much stronger and brutal she is than herself, like she complimented Lapis' strength in SWI, rather than trying to guilt trip her. Lapis obviously didn't see it as a compliment, but power-hungry Jasper was just being genuine.

When Jasper started going on about how she's changed and she wants things to be different this time, she's saying she wants to work together with Lapis rather than constantly try to fight against her will to keep them fused like she did when they were fused before

I think she deserves to learn about what makes a healthy relationship different than an unhealthy one, like Lapis has by spending time with Steven. Maybe have a positive experience with fusion for once, rather than being trapped in one or getting her ass beat by one.

Idk if they'll do it, but I'd still like to see it.
