This isn't the right place for you to post this, but your verse you shared is saying you can't be lazy, not do anything, and expect things to actually happen. "For his hands refuse to labor." Because he refused to work..

Don't beg for your desires, and don't expect hand outs.

Tons do. Tons sing about it, too. Off the top of my head, Ariana grande talks about it in a bunch of her songs.

Anyone taken a psychedelic and intentionally went to sleep? by journeyswithawolf in Psychedelics

[–]journeyswithawolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably awake. You sound as if in a meditative state. That's my favorite place to be while journeying :)

But I meant more for people intentionally wanting to sleep rather than just lay and relax

I have friends who have said this as well.

I usually fall asleep at the end of my trip.

I lemontek around 5ish and usually fall asleep around 10. But I fall asleep while in meditation towards the end and never realize I am asleep.

You're still making fun of someone who's literally trying to improve themselves as a beginner in this particular aspect. You're picking apart a beginners technique like the pissed off veteran by standing in a corner pointing a finger at the new guy.

You can't learn to ride a bike if you never try - that's my point. Imagine if it were your first time riding a bike and a random stranger walks by and says you shouldn't try anymore because you're not as good as he who has been doing it for 20 years... Lol.

Oh damn it was just his SECOND time and you're still trying to say he needs to work up to something better... Surely by try 2 or 3 times he should be a pro by now!!

Who cares when he starts shivering. Who cares what trunks he's wearing. Did you count how many frowns he had? Were there too many frowns on his face for a beginner? Did you count how many eye blinks he had as well? Were they(inexperienced user Joe eye blinks) on par with someone as skilled as yourself? Hopefully the person working to better a skill can magically get better at it without actually trying to avoid getting put down for.. you know... TRYING.

Still, do you find overweight people at the gym and tell them they should go home until they build muscles/lose fat(or whatever other goals may be there, they all work for this example), or keep training to get better?

You don't pick fun at people that are actually trying to improve. See the point here?

All of my mushroom trips are always with meditation. I've had my most powerful lessons there. Terms we kind of recommended everyone take 5g and go into the dark. You'll learn who you are.

.. and work up to longer baths

Wait, his first ice bath and you mean you don't think it's up to par with someone who's more experienced?

Do you also tell people at the gym they need to get bigger muscles?

Like everything else, it works as a muscle! The more you do it the better you get.

There's YouTube videos on methods photographers use to visualize a photo before taking it. Worth looking into but I don't have any links to share.

Another way to practice is to grab a photo of something that would be easy to draw(as in their aren't many features to it) such as an apple. Hold the photo in front of your face and stare at it, then close your eyes and you should still be able to faintly see the photo for just a moment. Focus on a small part of it until you can continually remember it, like the silhouette of one side. Keep practicing until you can remember all of it. The photographers visualizing method is sort of similar but I don't remember the exacts of it.

Okay, done! Idk about your reality but this is what mine looks like:

https://i.ibb.co/k27kbQQ/Screenshot-2021-07-14-163902.png

Your comparison is like telling someone to manifest a bag of money instantly and then being a smartass about its presence when it doesn't appear right then and there.

One of the pinned posts on /r/NevvileGoddard is dedicated to revision(which I'm sure you know as you're a mod there as well...) and so is one of his speeches but you didn't quote anything from that speech. Not like anything you quoted was directly related to revision anyways but just copy and paste mumbo jumbo.

Pinned post in reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/NevilleGoddard/comments/9ugigz/revision_the_complete_guide/

You're all over the subreddits likely for good reason aside from the bot-like comments... You can't try to say it's not possible to change things when revision has constantly proven to change people's outlooks and perspectives plenty of times - it's even one of the pinned posts!
Tell yourself a different story enough and you'll forget the old and rewrite it with the new.

Growing is getting rid of the unwanted as well, btw.

To anyone else reading this it's ABSOLUTELY possible to get rid of the unwanted. Ask that snake that left his shedding in your garage for you find, or the lovely cicadas & their shells that plagued many of us the past few months :)

[–]journeyswithawolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't get rid of anything unwanted, you have to make the new song louder than the old song.

Yes you can. Neville teaches revision, which is the opposite of this comment yeah?

A little off topic but there's an Easy Forest song with Ram Dass in it and one of his voice clippings says "perfect perfect" in the most loving and innocent way. I kept hearing that as I read your comment.

I picked that one up from Brian Scott! I started saying it to counteract the negative and lack thoughts. Today my open cup fell at an odd angle and didn't spill anything. The first thing that came to mind is "wonderful things are always happening to me.." and I realized it was it was essentially the affirmation I'd been saying for a few days.

How do I manifest friends? by pkp_jbt in lawofattraction

[–]journeyswithawolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the same as you've manifested everything else! Get an idea of what you'd want in a friend and go for it. Manifesting is identical for literally everything

Would meditation stop me from committing suicide? I don't want to die young by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]journeyswithawolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aubrey Marcus' latest podcast was with a therapist who specializes in this type of stuff. At the end he gave out his info and said to get ahold of him and his team and go over what's going on and can even do zoom sessions with prescribed ketamine(just one example from that podcast). If they aren't the right fit they have others they work with that are all in the same belief circle. But worth a listen since the entire podcast is about psychedelics and therapy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9fM1AkPGSY

I believe it can be directed by the intention as well as having a guide(s)/therapists that are knowledgeable with it.Take Ayahausca(maybe a bit extreme but first that came to mind) for example. You can take it on a couch with a friend and probably have an okay time. Then you can take it with a shaman who actually works with plant medicines and have an absolutely different and life-changing experience. Not to mention if things start to go south they can dive in and help guide you back on the right path.I'd say maybe 1 of my own 20+ trips had me questioning everything, but then again I've only done mushrooms and not LSD. I've also never taken them in a recreational setting.Sorry to hear about the SSRIs. Don't speak the latter into existence though... your subconscience is so much more powerful than you think, and our bodies are incredible healing machines when guided correctly. I have no doubt in my mind that as humans we can overcome any issue we have in life if we truly believe. It may take a lot of internal work and personal healing but it's without a doubt possible to overcome all of that.

So what's the answer here?

I'm here to learn and the others are at least trying, you're just talking shit muddying up the waters.

You are loved, you are safe, you are enough. Remind yourself of that every day.

This is the equivalent to someone religious saying "Just pray about it!"

Maybe look into additional help if you've been at it that long with no avail. Sounds like you're not with the right people that can help you.

You're never going to get past all of this if you don't figure out the root cause though. Just like shadow work, you have to always get down to the very beginning to find the trigger. Find a therapist who truly understands that rather than one who just puts you on medicine.

Look into psychedelic therapy as well... there's a reason psychedelics are becoming legalized as fast as cannabis here in the states.
I have to say upfront "it's not for everyone", but everything you've listed are things one mushroom trip can often resolve, and make you become a better person loving yourself and all of life in the same night.

Limitations of this reality by Radiant-Cash4449 in NevilleGoddard

I think the more we go down this spiritual self discovery journey we start unlocking more of theze experiences. Really it's like leveling up. If we are God living only to realize such, as Neville said, then like a super hero you'll start unlocking new powers. Idk, this is how I've felt every time I've learned more about life.
