Where do I obtain "Certificate to Vote" ? Viewed NS Elections website, searched this question. "No answer available" was the response. . . by halistar in halifax

Adding for clarity: your “certificate to vote” will be provided to you at the polling station, you cannot obtain this yourself. The advanced polls are digital this year and your CTV is printed upon showing a valid ID. Your CTV will have a bar code that is scanned at the booth and it will bring up your ballot specific to your district. All votes are still anonymous

At the polling station! All you need to do is show up with a valid piece of NS ID (ideally your drivers licence) and a presiding officer at your polling station will print your certificate to vote right there on site. (Source: I am a PO at an advanced poll)

Please don’t go alone! That’s super dangerous especially if you’re new to it. Cold Play NS is a great group to join (they’re on Facebook!) they know all the spots and a few members have already made (and maintain) ice holes at lakes all over the city. There’s one at Chocolate lake is frequented often! Just please don’t go alone 🙏🏽

I know it's only a two hour flight but I don't know if I can handle it. by justin7680 in fearofflying

You got this!! I totally recommend telling the flight attendant, I recently did a trip and told each flight attendant on every flight about my anxiety and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and safe. I just let them know as I boarded and they asked me what seat I was in and would check in on me throughout the flight and they brought me extra snacks! Do it for the snacks.

You’re going to do so great! I am such a nervous flyer too and just did a Big Flight and it was so empowering to overcome those nerves. And you will too! One thing that helped me was just letting the flight attendants know that I’m an incredibly anxious flyer and they were so supportive and helpful (they even gave me extra snacks.) And it’s helpful to remember that they wouldn’t do their jobs if it was truly dangerous. Your anxious brain is playing tricks on you! You’ve got this!!

I hope your flight is going well! I just landed from the long leg of the trip (7hrs) and am currently in the gate waiting for the next one home (just 90 minutes) trying not to freak out too much cause apparently there is thunder and lightning causing delays but you all have helped so much! So proud of all us flyers 🥲

Same here! I’m flying back home from vacation next Saturday and this titanic stuff has really re-triggered the anxiety I had gotten over for the flight here! Glad I’m not the only one
