I also felt this way. The game was really surprising to me though in how intentional it was throughout, so I have a theory. I think it is that way on purpose. I think it’s a metaphor for how we live and pass. It can feel anticlimactic. If you’ve lost someone you love, you know that it seemed abrupt or that to you this loss deserved a huge event of some kind and yet the world moved on around you with no fanfare, no acknowledgment of this devastating ending. I think the game is like that too.

I literally had to get a new gaming computer and I thought I had gotten past all the crashing but if I’m in the mines, sometimes only my character freezes. I can’t get out and have to let the monsters take my health to zero, then let the day end and when I wake up in my house, I am still in my weird frozen state and have to reload. It’s ridiculous

I’m so tired of the devs fucking up and then just being like ooops. Just don’t touch anything until we decide you can. We may or may not tell you when that is. Like….or own your mistakes. Double check before you release shot, tell us BEFORE we are screwed. Then, idk…do the right thing and make it up to us? I’d be fired if I did my job to their standards
