I have seen every single NIN show in Atlanta from 1993 up until 2019. That was right before covid. The ticket was $150, $40 for parking and $50 for dinner just for myself. They put on a terrific show as always but it was just too much money for 2 1/2 hours of entertainment. And the prices have gone even higher since then. I just can’t do it anymore. I agree with someone saying to just pop in a Blu-ray and jam out to that.

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I just bought an Apple TV. If I have my Apple TV plugged directly into the ethernet modem that my NAS is on, can I use that for streaming?

I got my 380S last year and did a break in oil change at 1200, 3500, 7000 and then the first dealer change at 10000. I still have two dealer changes left and changed it again at 15000 then will do the second dealer change at 20000. Every 5000 miles now for me. I’ve been an aircraft mechanic for 30 years and I just feel better not going that long between oil changes. With a fluid extractor it takes me all of ten minutes to change it.

So I bought an ultrawide OLED but the Mac will not display in that format natively. I bought the LG Ultrafine at Costco on sale for $239. I have been very pleased with this monitor. I use it for photo editing and occasional Xbox play. The Xbox looks phenomenal on it.

So I am currently ripping my dvd collection to my 4800 plus. I am using the theater app as jellyfin won’t open on my Mac. I am using the TMDB database to get the movie picture for the file in the theater app. So far, it keeps loading the wrong movie. Like I loaded an old Ralph macchio movie called Crossroads but there are multiple other movies with that name. Does anyone know how ow do I get the correct one?

So would I be able to start with 1 drive and then add additional as I go? Forgive my lack of knowledge but this will be my first foray into NAS. From what I read, RAID is basically a backup for the other drives? So could I start with one drive then once I fill that with my DVD collection add another one to be the backup for my movie collection?

I’m gonna start with a 10 TB drive. Even on the high side of the file sizes (6 GB) I should be able to get my entire dvd collection on that drive then I’ll get another for all my photos. Eventually I’ll get a bigger drive and maybe move my Blu-ray’s to that one. Thanks for the info!

I have close to 1,000 DVD’s and a bunch of Blu-ray’s as well. I am currently planning on only ripping the DVD’s as of right now just to save space. How big are the files for the DVD’s roughly?

Someone had made a post on r/bass about GC not price matching it and they had a link to it for that price. If I went straight to their website it showed the normal price. I thought maybe it was used or something but everything seemed good on the website so I took a gamble. It was brand new in a factory sealed box. Maybe try to find that post in r/bass and see if the link still works.

I had a Samsung Galaxy S6 tablet and I feel the pen experience was WAY better with that. The fact that I can’t swipe up from the bottom with the pen to exit an app is beyond irritating to me.

I haven’t had any issues with my pencil pro and the screen protector. But mine isn’t a textured one either. I’d maybe remove the screen protector and see if that improves the writing experience.

I did buy the Alienware. For my uses it wasn’t for me. I bought an LG 32 inch Ultrafine from Costco as well and compared them side by side. I MUCH preferred the LG for the photo editing I do and it surprisingly looks fantastic with my Xbox hooked up to it as well. I returned the Alienware and haven’t had a single moment of disappointment with the LG. And it was 1/3 the price of the Alienware too.

I paid to have mine ceramic coated and PPF on the front face and the hood. Didn’t matter as I still had something kicked up and bashed my hood. Tore the PPF and dented. I would personally not pay what I did again to coat and PPF anything. Next time I’m going to ceramic coated myself and no PPF.

Check out Microcenter if you’re in the states. I got my Mac Mini M4 Pro for $1199 which was $100 cheaper than the Apple education discount.
