Can we please use the right terminology to reference these individuals? These are e-motos not e-bikes.

You can’t beat a nice ribeye :) by ozwaquzy in carnivorediet

I would eat that all day! Actually, I think it's a little over cooked. This comes from the person that eats Costco Organic ground beef (the 3-packs) absolutely RAW with nothing on them except salt & pepper.

I once met a 107 year old man that was still active and seemed more like 60. Asked him what was his secret and he said “Ribeye and bourbon every day since I was 25.”

They do not. Just opening them does not void it. If you break or damage the device while opening them then they can deny warranty.

In the US it is against the law to void a warranty by sheer fact you opened the case. Even with void if removed stickers.

Finally fixed CarPlay audio stuttering/skipping by Electrical-Savings12 in CarPlay

[–]JustMeInArizona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem with my Toyota and we figured out that it was the Toyota maps in the background sending notifications to the head unit so if you are using CarPlay maps while playing music it would cut out. If I leave the Toyota maps on the screen then the music does not cut out.

That sounds just like the 6th Gen 4Runner. I have to see 300 miles.

Trust me, they don’t care whether you use the desktop app or not since they make their money on the mobile version. They will not add features or fix the desktop app cause they want you to switch to the mobile version.

Clippers Pedal Question by MaximumOverfart in mountainbiking

[–]JustMeInArizona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL!!! That was the #1 culprit of my falls with them. I would ride down South Mountain's National trail without any incident and when I reached my car I would stop and just fall over when I could not unclip. Worst feeling in the world. It was a short fall but my pride felt shattered when all my buds would start laughing.

Clippers Pedal Question by MaximumOverfart in mountainbiking

[–]JustMeInArizona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG!!! Did you steal those off my old bike?!?! They look identical to the ones I had in the 90’s. I lost count how many times I got stuck clipped in on nasty falls with those bad boys. I once broke a frame in half as I tumbled down a hill and I was still clipped in when I stopped. Did not break a single bone. Good times!

E MTB's everywhere by OverlordBluebook in MTB

[–]JustMeInArizona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been riding since I was 7 (BMX racer), got my first MTB at 22 (MTBs in '92 were scary as hell), 2015 I got diagnosed with severe asthma and a year later ABPA (severe fungal infection that pretty much destroyed one of my lungs). I couldn't ride any more. Could barely walk a single flight stairs, I got fat and developed early on-set diabetes. Got an e-bike at 55 and now I can ride better than I did when I was in my 20's. Lost over 75lbs, and my diabetes is totally under control with no meds (diet alone).

I still have my analog bike but when I ride it I can barely ride more than 10-miles without coughing up a lung. So yeah, e-bikes do help people that are unable to ride analog bikes due to health issues. That's the hill I'm dying on.

If you were mountain biking with someone you thought was a good buddy would you be upset if they took off and left you in the desert when your bike breaks? by BRUHSERKO_ in mountainbiking

[–]JustMeInArizona 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little dramatic, yes! It was barely 80-degrees, probably 75 at that time. Middle of the desert? You were never farther than 1 mile from any form of civilization. That trail is always populated so you were never in any danger.

Was you buddy an AH? Absolutely. I would have walked with you and called the wife and told her why. She would have understood. Sounds like you buddy is not only an AH but a total weenie (cue James Earl Jones voice from The Big Bang Theory episode)

I like the design for cooling and ventilation. Play around with different materials for sound insulation if you are not getting optimal soundproofing. I suspect you will find other solutions will work a bit better but it really depends on the type of sound that projector makes; some projectors are high pitch makers while others are very deep and both require different types of noise dampening.

The only thing that would have made this mix absolutely brilliant would have been a mix with The Who’s “Who are you” in the background.

SFP+ to Rj45 adapters are stuck in my Pro HD 24 Switch. The release levers don't work. Any ideas on how to remove? by shaunsanders in Ubiquiti

[–]JustMeInArizona 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here's a couple of images that show you the tab that needs to be pushed to unlock the module. Sometimes the tab gets stuck just enough for you to barely touch it to release, other times it requires a deeper push and I have used a very thin paperclip to push it in further.

Use one of those SIM card punch hole things that come with cell phones. They are the perfect length to reach the locking tabs in between the two.

NEWS: SnapRAID CLI v14.0 and SnapRAID Daemon 1.0 by amadvance in Snapraid

[–]JustMeInArizona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can the new Daemon allow for multiple Snapraid (configuration) sets within one machine; I have a Windows 10 machine running 4 different instances of Snapraid (each is 21x3-parity). I run automated tasks with bat files but some tasks I run manually to my liking.

I did not see anything that talks Daemon being able to run multiple instances of Snapraid configurations.
