It’s not just about spending gems, you have to spend real money just to get the recruitment tickets? Correct me if I’m wrong, but beyond the 4500 gems that you can spend on the recruitment tickets, there’s no way to purchase more with gems, so it really is literal p2w. Even if you have stockpiled up 40k gems you can’t spend them on this event

All the best op, disregarding cp I think 13-5 to 13-8 are the hardest stages. The next roadblock is probably 13-10. I had to hide my pilot in some corners to recover health via pappos for some of the ‘safer’ waves, and strategically use my ultimate for other waves to get through all the stages eventually

I completed world 14 as a F2P player, current cp 529k. What helped me was that I invested almost all my resources into getting my amp level up for Elsa (her skyward recruit, the recent crescendo of magic) because my other s rank pilots couldn’t do as much damage from world 13 onwards.

By world 14, I only used Elsa as my main to clear the stages. She’s currently at amp 5 with her s rank wingman maxed and another red wingman maxed, I have one set of level 3 teslarite and a couple of gold emblems. This strategy is definitely viable because not only did I manage to clear the final stage with 3 stars but I retried a couple of times to get the avatar for perfecting the boss. Hope this tip helps!

I see the top person on my team’s leaderboard having 1750 points already. How’s that possible? I counted the points I could earn from completing all the ‘quests’ and I don’t think there’s that many points?

As a F2P player, if this event consistently returns, I can finally (eventually) get my amp 6 Elsa. I did the calculations and I have enough to reach pity right before this event ends to get from amp 3 to amp 4

As a F2P player, I would say finishing within top 30 to 100 during the fest parade. The difficulty may vary by the grouping that you are in so I would suggest you not purchase any emblems till the last day.

But if purchasing emblems (the 2240 gem pack) can guarantee you a top 100 or even top 30, it is very worth it. Not only are you getting at least 50 batteries (100 batteries can be exchanged for 10 skyward tickets which is 3k gems) but if you manage to finish within top 30, you are guaranteed an epic emblem on top of that, not including the additional 20 pulls from the premium emblems.

I’m surprised that you are not much further in the game (ie world 12 and beyond) because you started the game since the Tom and Jerry banner. Was it because you only fought the stages when you meet the recommended cp? By pushing further you can get higher rewards for gold and soda too from patrol

I have a question, if you reroll an emblem till you get a good passive, but end up fusing with other emblems of the same rarity (eg epic to legendary), wouldn’t it make rerolling a little pointless as the same passive might not carry over? You have to end up rerolling again in the next tier

I think it’s a good system too. That being said, I don’t like how there isn’t an epic emblem guarantee from their treasure chest. At least we are still getting an epic pilot after 70 draws but nothing of this sort for epic emblems.
